I forgot to mention ...

This weekend, A Sea of Blue went over 4 million unique visits.

Thanks to everyone who reads A Sea of Blue and takes the time to offer their perspective and insights.  It is all of you who make this such a vibrant community and one of the best sites on the Internet for UK fans to visit.

Thanks again to all.

I did my share

I know I did my share to get us to 4M. Since that day I was glued to your site to find out where P. Pat was going to commit, it has been ASOB almost every day…and a lot more during this past basketball season….A WHOLE LOT MORE!

I disagree, a little bit '-)

“one of the best sites on the Internet for UK fans to visit.” Sometimes we do more than visit. Remember, I brought my blue tent.

Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!

Congrats!

4 Mil is a big number.

I am curious. Is the 4 million over the life of the blog or are you talking a smaller time frame?

Life of the blog.

Which is since about February of 2006

Heh.

Well, we have a long way to go for 4 million posts. I’m just talking about visits, not comments. :-)

Nice milestone!

“unique” as in…… 4 million different individuals? Impressive.

Its a testament to the quality work by you, Ken, BSC and others that keep this intelligent (or at least coherent), insightful, interesting and devoid of trollers, slammers and the like.

Keep it going.

Well ...

… kind of. The metric isn’t quite that precise. It currently tracks only the last 4000 or so visits, so I’m sure there is much duplication, necessarily. We call them “unique” visits, but that’s a bit fungible based on how Sitemeter actually tracks visits.

That really is an unfair stat Tru......3,499,000 of those were to look at the pics of the "door".....

lol…….and to get the link to the memphis TV station’s live web feed…..hehehe

Congrats anyway……..still one hell of an accomplishment……and a great place to hang out….

"fungible"

uh-oh……..Tru’s going to have 1 millions visitors revoked and lose the trophy. j/k

Was Calipari's arrival like throwing the proverbial "gasoline" on the fire?

I mean Jeez Louise you probably got 500,000 hits watching and waiting for a door to open ….

Actually ...

… it was. I had huge numbers on those months, and even though we got close this year, we didn’t get there.

while I am very happy for you

my work has been complaining about my productivity while attending your site, naturally I told them to piss off, there are priorities at work here. :j

keep up the fantastic work and we’ll continue the hits!

According to Washington

4 million is so 20th century. Let’s get it up in the trillions.

I may be paranoid, but that doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

congrats !

its without a doubt the best site I’ve been too….kudos to everyone

That's funny

Karen Sypher just went over 4 million unique visits herself…..

I love ASoB!

This is practically the only site I visit for UK news! Not only do I get the fix that I need, I get to see other points of view via the message board below each post.

It’s bliss!
