Dime Magazine says Doron Lamb to UK
"Multiple sources" are cited. Lamb's announcement is rumored to be tomorrow. If true, John Calipari has filled at least one need for next year's team.

Glad to see this guy is really leaning toward us. I wasn’t initially excited about him coming to Lexington but after watching some video on him, this guy has a ton of potential to be one of the best shooters to wear the true blue.
I didn't
think we could have a younger team than last year, but it looks like a real possibility. Now I wish PPat would stay since Miller/Liggins will be the elder statesmen on the floor.
The Dalai Lama has nothing on Cal......
The Pope better hope the man doesnt decide to start his own religion…….lol…..cause there is no end to the followers he will have……..
We have a Lamb, an Enes, a Knight, and a Poole……..
To go with our Liggins, Miller and crew…….woooooooooooooo!!!!!
Shooting will not be a problem next year…….these kids can shoot……
I AM THE CAT......The Cat In The Hat!!!
Terrence Jones
I am also seeing around the interweb that Cal may also get Jones. It seems like he wants to stay closer to home and play out west but you never know. He has said that UK fans should feel good about their chances to land him. If Cal can get this kid and Lamb, give him another million a year. Just kidding, I don’t want some people to get their panties in a bunch.
Lamb will look good in UK blue.

We're going to have a ferocious and fun to watch backcourt.
Just need Terrence Jones to prowl around inside the perimeter now.
Lamb
should really open up the DDMO, meaning we could see the full installation this year
dime article
even holds out some hope that Selby will come to UK – that would be unbelievable if Cal closes that deal. ku fans would have to be put on suicide watch

Kansas Fans
That to me would be the best part. They are already going on about how we can “have” Knight cause they would rather have Selby. They are banking on already having Selby and a good shot at Lamb – have to say it’d be pretty funny to see them lose out on both to us simply because their downplay of Knight (due to sour grapes, IMO) really irritated me. I mean, the kid is number 1 for a reason!
It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.

Just like NC State fans will be on suicide watch
if CJ Leslie comes to UK.

I would enjoy that as well. ;)
You really dont think J. Wall inticed him to go to UK even a little bit??

Unfortunately, Alabama isn't a basketball goldmine.
The only current pros I can think of from Alabama are Gerald Wallace, Jamario Moon & Ben Wallace.

Biggest ambassador is Cal getting these guys to the league ...
But, don’t forget the role of the fans ….. Midnight madness, 24,000 turn out for Gameday, … Alot of pro teams would be happy to get 24,000 for any game, much less every game.
If we get Lamb, Leslie, Jones, Selby or some combination thereof … the media’s big thing will be “can a team this young win it all?”
Gilchrest siging basically a year early was a big boost to the program … I like the way Cal manages recruiting …… :)
selby
will go to KU, bank on it. He hasnt talked to cal for 2 months.

What time is Lamb's announcement?
I know its supposed to be sometime today before the game.
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

They will...
Lamb will announce during one of the first half TO, while Selby will announce during half time…
I hope we get them both on my first day joining ASOB!
Welcome to A Sea of Blue joshyth!!
We are gald to have you … and if you bring Lamb and Selby with you … well, maybe Tru can give you a free ASoB membership :)
Thank...
Too bad we only got Lamb, but it’s still better than nothing. Now we only need Jones or Lesile, and I think we should be set for next year (course, if they both come to UK, that will be fine for me too ;) )
PS We will finally find out if Patterson will stay or leave tomorrow. (If i’m not mistaken, tomorrow is the last day you can enter the draft?)

Hrmmmm
Selby is going to Kansas… Seems like Lamb won’t be announcing till halftime.
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

2009-10-11 Classes Will Exceed 1978-79-80 UK Classes
Those 3 classes included 8 McDonalds HS A-A and 1 Parade HS A-A for total of 9 HS A-A.
1979 was #1 and is one of best classes ever signed anywhere. 1978 and 1980 were Top 3 for sure and some rated them #1 those years.
