The Big Blue Daily Mail -- Tuesday Evening Edition
Lots of news today as the conference tournaments get underway and the SEC hands out superlatives. Also, there is lots of speculation about Kentucky's place in the tournament as we draw closer to Selection Sunday.
Now, for the news.

Wall, not Cousins, wins freshman award - College Basketball Nation Blog - ESPN
The end result of all this? Kentucky just so happens to be one of the best teams in the country, despite being one of the youngest. To use another lame cliché, look up "embarrassment of riches" in the dictionary. If Rupp Arena's picture isn't there, it should be.

UK hoops: Cats a cinch for No. 1 seed | KentuckySports.com
Of course, there's no off switch for Kentucky fans. But bracketologists Jerry Palm and Joe Lunardi say UK's game against Florida on Sunday and this week's Southeastern Conference Tournament hold no bearing on NCAA Tournament seeding.
This is right, of course. If the Committee found someone else more worthy than Kentucky, it would be one of the biggest shocks in recent college basketball history. That doesn't mean it couldn't happen, of course, but I'm confident UK has done all they need to do to be a #1 seed.

How did this man not win SEC coach of the year? - The Dagger - NCAAB Blog - Yahoo! Sports
Had the SEC coaches voted Tennessee's Bruce Pearl as coach of the year instead of Calipari, they could have justified it somewhat by pointing to the adversity the Vols have overcome this season to return to the NCAA tournament.
But Stallings? C'mon. Hatred has never been this transparent.
Jeff Eisenberg of The Dagger pulls no punches like Rick Bozich did. He calls a spade a spade. I still think Pearl should have won, but not Stallings. Full disclosure -- I like Stallings much better than Pearl.

Carrying a sky high scoring average and GPA, Knight, a true scholar-athlete, will find out on March 10 if he was named the Morgan Wooten High School Player of the Year. Sometime before then, he’ll play his last varsity high school game in Florida. And, while deciding between the likes of Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, Miami, Syracuse and UConn, in a great look for SLAM regulars, during the next few weeks leading up to the McDonald’s game, Brandon Knight will be keeping a journal documenting his last days as a high school hooper for us.
This kid is one I'd really like to have. It is great to get good student-athletes. It gives lie to some of the knocks against top players that are so often unfair. Via True Blue Kentucky.

In agreement about Brandon Knight
He would look great in Kentucky Blue. And he’s #11. If (when) John Wall goes pro, He can have his uniform.

Of course that’s because he agrees with me…..but hey, great minds think alike……lol

The March to March
blogger, Kevin Berger is just about as clueless an individual as I have ever seen. He doesn’t have a clue about UK even saying they are using the DDMO slightly modified. Where do these clowns come from?
On Kevin Berger
He’s a Texas fan first and foremost, posting under the pseudonym Trips Right on the always hilarious, mostly pragmatic, definitely on point Barking Carnival. Between him and PB/AW over at Burnt Orange Nation, Texas hoops definitely has amazing basketball blog coverage. Fantake is expanding its empire, and Trips has moved over to March to March, a more nationally-oriented blog. While he doesn’t watch all teams with the passion and intensity of Longhorn basketball, he is rather knowledgeable and pretty competent on all things basketball. Give him a chance.
If Berger is a Texas fan first then it makes more sense.....especially considering their
collapse this year……
I AM THE CAT......The Cat In The Hat!!!
I
agree about the number one seed but we don’t want to go out West or East IMO. Lets get south or Mideast. That is what we are playing for now.
We can't get midwest.
KU will get that and the overall #1. I think we end up in the east. Syracuse can’t go there b/c the finals are in their arena. So Syr will get South as the #2 or #3 overall. That leave UK with the East or West.

And I’m amazed by John Wall. He is wise beyond his years.

Plus, he says “Yes sir” a lot in interviews. I am glad he chose to be a Wildcat.

The "Odds" article is so exciting
I may have trouble sleeping the rest of March. Not worried, just thinking about how long ago 1998 was.

Tru, a question for you or anyone
Why does the schedule on the front page have us playing a SEC quarterfinal against UNC-Wilmington on Friday? I know it is automated but where is it coming from? I saw it somewhere else too, but I can’t remember where at the moment. :-}}
Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!
I have no idea where that comes from.
I am waiting for it to correct itself, but I’ll mention it if it doesn’t correct by today sometime.

"all the way"
After reading about
Cousins response……………hahahahaha! I just love that guy………..Kevin Stallings? huh? I thought he coached Georgia!!!!!!! I LOVE COUSINS!!!!!! What a character!!!! Now me thinks our boys may have a little motivation to kick some tail this weekend. Me also thinks that maybe Cal sent some bad emails or something to the coaches calling them wimpy or something …………then they would be mad at him and not vote him coach of the year just so he could motivate his boys :)………………hahahahahahaha!!! LOVE IT!!!!
Maybe the "coach of the year award" is victim to the kind of troll thinking we see here all the time
“Those vicories will be vacated, so no sense in awarding Calipari”. I don’t agree with that thinking, but it is being said everywhere.
"all the way"
Really?
You don’t think that shows something besides humor? Maybe disrespect? If not disrespect, then maybe a surprising lack of knowledge? Seriously, if it were reversed, and Calipari had won the award, and Ogilvy said he thought Calipari coached Mississippi State, or Auburn, or something, would you think it was that funny? If I were a player on Stalling’s team, I think such a remark would give me a little motivation to “kick some tail”. this weekend. Of course, I’m hoping that match up never occurs.
Also, Calipari had no need to send any emails, he dissed all the other SEC coaches and schools in public by saying winning the SEC championship means nothing. If anyone thinks that wasn’t noted by other coaches and their teams, they are crazy.

Context is key
If you watch the video, you can clearly see is is joking with the media guys asking the questions.
Some say a comet will fall from the sky. Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves.
Followed by faultlines that cannot sit still. Followed by millions of dumbfounded dips**ts.
If that's the case...
then I guess it’s disrespect that he is showing instead of ignorance. It doesn’t answer the question, would it be funny if another team’s player was saying it about Calipari?

If it was a joke in context of someone making fun of Cal, so be it.

DeMarcus Cousins...
is neither ignorant nor is he disrespectful. In this interview, or any other, for that matter.
What he is, is rather funny. Too bad you can’t see that.
+1
Cousins is hilarious.

Why won't...
anyone answer my question? I’m pretty sure I know why. If another team’s player made the same joke/disrespectful comment about Calipari, the Big Blue Nation would hyperventilate, with everyone competing to see who could come up with the most synonyms for the word “thug”. But your guy says it, and it’s nothing short of comic genius and I need to get a sense of humor. Look, I don’t really care what he says, it’s just that I’m totally amazed that people cannot admit that it was either a stupid or disrespectful thing for an eighteen-year-old to say. Now, it’s no surprise he would publicly disrespect another team’s coach — I’ve heard he’s a great student.
I guess I just need to quit being amazed at the heavy tint of the blue glasses. In this case they are almost opaque…. too bad you can’t see that — or anything that doesn’t go along with your idealized view of “Big Cuz”.

I
think your shades are a little orange. :). You need to understand that if anyone said this I would still think its funny. Cousins has a goofy personality. Did you even watch the video? I mean he was joking around. If he was acting all serious then ya I see your point……good grief though he was joking. If another kid said that about Cal…….I would laugh too. Its funny no matter who it is!!!
Well,
at least you answered the question. And good for you, if you think it would be funny if the remark was about Calipari. As I said earlier, I don’t think it was all that terrible (not really all that funny either, but that’s just me…) I just think it is funny how one-sided some people’s sense of humor is.

well,
you really must give people a chance to comment before you go and get all upset about people not responding. I have been away from my computer for a while, I’ve been busy, and so I’m just now getting back to this and honestly, I guess I just missed your last question..
Now, to answer your question, and there were four by the way, and I definitely answered your first three in my above post. And, as a reminder to you, your first three questions were, "You don’t think that shows something besides humor? Maybe disrespect? If not disrespect, then maybe a surprising lack of knowledge?", and my answer to all three of those is "No".
And as far as your last question, and the one you seem so upset that no one is remarking on, well, the answer to that is "yes, yes I probably would think it was funny". But, I want to say two things here — first, I would have to know a bit of history about the person who made the comment first in order to deem intent, I mean was he a genuinely likeable kid, or was he just plain mean and rude? And two, to be quite frank with you I don’t really spend a whole lot of my time perusing rival fans’ boards or going in search of random 4 minute interviews given by rival teams’ players, so there is a pretty good chance that I would have never heard the interview in the first place. And even if I had, I would have more than likely shrugged, said, "huh, oh well", gone on my merry way and forgotten all about it as I don’t particularly hang on every word of our own players let alone players from other teams in our conference.
I’m sure there are some UK fans who would have problem with Cousins’ statements if they had been said by a rival competitor, but I am not one of them and I don’t appreciate being lumped into a category of being "blind and hypocritical" with a million other fans. How would you like it if I compared you to ALL other UT fans out there?
Well...
the thing is, I didn’t say you were blind and hypocritical… I didn’t say anyone was. If you will look, that phrase was used in response to the person I was replying to… making the point that I didn’t realize that I had to be blind and hypocritical to be a fan, as he seemed to posit. I don’t think he is either; he seems to be one of the more reasonable people I’ve “met” here. I guess our main difference is that you think it’s funny no matter who said it and I think it’s disrespectful not matter who said it.
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." A. Bartlett Giamatti
i hate to drag this out...
but i listened to the comments again and have yet another take on it.
it sounded like he and wall really did not know who stallings was – which on the surface seems crazy, but given they only faced vandy twice, were not recruited by vandy and are freshman, who says they should know the names of all the opposing coaches. now i know they would know pearl because he gets his share of publicity (and pitino and donovan) and i know ppat would know who stallings was, but given all the media that has been in wall’s and cousins’ face, they may not have know which coach was which. now if it were the lsu or uga coach, it might be more understandable – also, you can bet they know the olgivy name as well as jenkins and other players.
anyway, just another thought….

by memphis wildcat on Mar 10, 2010 4:37 PM EST up reply actions
That could be...
I said it was a case of either disrespect or surprising ignorance. Most people here seemed to think he was trying to be funny, which would mean he did know who he was. If it was ignorance, I could agree with you, that it might not be all that far-fetched for him to not know who coaches which team. Some kids that age don’t have much use for the details.
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." A. Bartlett Giamatti
or ignorance and humor
if you really didn’t know who it was and tried to laugh it off as a joke
"Come test me every day if you want," says Pujols, "Everything I ever made in this game I would give back to the Cardinals if I got caught."
Thanks for clearing that up.
I guess I got your posts mixed up. You did however typecast UK fans in this comment above:
"If another team’s player made the same joke/disrespectful comment about Calipari, the Big Blue Nation would hyperventilate, with everyone competing to see who could come up with the most synonyms for the word "thug".
Now, that is labeling, is it not? And, in this case it isn’t necessarily true, at least not for this member of the BBN as I would not be hyperventilating if someone joked about knowing who our coach was and I don’t use the word "thug", not even to describe players of our rivals.
Look, I don’t want to argue with you all day about this, I’m sure we both have better things to do. Was Cousins’ comment the smartest thing he could have said? Well, no, of course not, no reasonable person thinks that and no PR company in America would have advised him to say that, but unfortunately for him he doesn’t have the benefit of a PR firm, he’s 19 years old. He’s said the first thing that popped into his head and while it is true that I do like Cousins, I am not necessarily a Cousins apologist on all things. In this case I am because I don’t truly think he is an intentionally disrespectful kid, but I’m not in all cases and I really do try to be objective. Maybe I’m just sympathetic because I was 19 once, and said and did all kinds of things that were probably not all that smart, but I was lucky, because unlike DeMarcus in this instance I don’t have a ton of rabid fans, both UK and otherwise, hanging on my every word. I don’t know.
I guess my main issue with this is that it seems a bit foolish and maybe a tad overactive to take the words of a 19-year-old kid totally to heart and give those words so much meaning.
And, I really doubt that this will get Vandy all riled up as they are a good team and really shouldn’t need this to motivate them.
Okay, I see where you are coming from...
…I guess my problem wasn’t so much him saying it (I know kids don’t think a whole lot about what comes out of their mouth) as people thinking it was hilarious. What I initially said was in reply to someone thinking what he said was so hilarious, and your initial reply to me that he wasn’t being disrespectful here, or ever, and was just funny, and that it was too bad that I didn’t have the sense of humor to see it. But I agree that people probably should cut these kids some slack, but it needs to be all of them, not just the ones you are familiar with. How much fun has it been for me to have tons of people call our entire team a bunch of hoodlums and gangsters because some college age kids didn’t make a wise choice? Not much, because I know that for the most part the players are a group of good, hardworking, smart kids. Does that mean I think what they did should have been overlooked and never criticized? No. So again, I guess my main problem was not that I took his remarks so much to heart, just the fact that so many people thought it was funny and not disrespectful.
I think we finally understand each other.
And to be honest, I never would have replied to your initial post in the first place except for the fact that I don’t take too kindly to others questioning the intelligence and respectfulness of DeMarcus Cousins or any of our players, for that matter.
I don’t really like it all that much when that sort of personal inquiry comes from our own fans, but even less so when that kind of inquiry comes from a rival fan. You want to personally criticize Coach Cal? Well, go right ahead, I say, as I think there are approximately 3.6 million reasons why he can handle it, it just gets a little sticky for me when it comes to anyone personally criticizing players, whether that criticizing comes from UK fans or opposing fans, and due to what I’m sure you have experienced from rival fans about your own players this season, I’m sure you can understand that. If you want to be super critical of our players’ haircuts, headbands, shoe styles or something else non-personal, go right ahead, but I don’t expect that you would like me coming over to your site and critiquing your players’ intelligence and respectfulness, either, now would you? And for the record, that would never ever occur to me, because other than what I see on the court on occasion, I don’t really have intimate knowledge of your players and I don’t know what kind of people they truly are.
Oh, and not on topic here, but in the fourth paragraph in my post right before this one, the word should obviously be "over-reactive", not "overactive". Sorry, that was just really bugging me. : )
Again...
not so much criticizing him as criticizing those who applauded what he unwisely said. Even criticizing something he said is not criticizing his person. Also, I never questioned his intelligence; when I use the word “ignorant”, it means lacking the knowledge of something, not lack of intelligence — huge difference there. I realize I’m ignorant about many things, but like to think I’m fairly intelligent. For instance, I think I’m intelligent enough to realize we’ve come to a good place in this discussion and say good night, and good luck… just not against the Vols!
Also, I know what you mean; sometimes it kills me that I can’t edit these posts. You try to proofread, but you can’t catch everything!

Why in the world would you come to a Kentucky fan page and be shocked, shocked that we think it’s funny when one of our own cracks a joke at a rival? You sound like a smart dude, and I am glad you are here to provide an intelligent outside perspective. I don’t blame you, as a non-UK fan, for not being amused. I’d be surprised if you DID find it funny. But PLEASE lay off the faux outrage that we, a bunch of Kentucky partisans, aren’t hand-wringing over Cousins’ words. Come on, you’re better than that (I think). Cousins plays for us. He’s a funny, likable guy (again, to us), and he’s prone to say outrageous, did-he-just-say-that things sometimes. Plus he’s really, really good at basketball. We like him. A lot. Therefore, we think his comment, in defense of his and OWN own coach, is amusing. That’s really all there is to it. If Ogilvy said the same thing about Calipari winning the award, of course we’d be pissy about it (right after we got through laughing about the ridiculousness of Frosty Tips not knowing who our coach is) . That we might feel differently if it wasn’t our guy who said it…who cares? Kentucky fans aren’t different from other fans, except we’re just MORE of everything. Fans, as a group, simply aren’t “fair.” They don’t view things rationally and dispassionately. That’s the fun of sports and rivalry. We’re not debating health care reform here.
By the way, I love your signature quote. I’ve never heard that before, and it is lovely.

Great post bkg!

ahhh, thanks ladies
I’m mad I can’t edit, though….meant “OUR own coach”, not “OWN own”, of course…because OWN own makes no sense. Sigh.
Thanks for overlooking my error, though : )

Okay....
you make very valid points, in a very readable way, and you aren’t rude about it. That I respect a great deal. I guess I just have a super huge chip on my shoulder because a lot of folks seem to feel that because there are, admittedly, many more UK basketball fans that somehow means that they, individually, are somehow better fans than those of other teams. Nothing rubs me the wrong way more than arrogance, and I’ve run into that with one person here in particular.
Thanks for the compliment on my quote; I don’t suppose we pull for the same team in that great sport?
BTW, just for the record…I’m not a dude. But I “forgive” you for calling me one! ;-)

you're a lady!
Now I really like you—I gotta love a girl who loves basketball and/or baseball (sorry, I’m take-it-or-leave-it on football, which as a Tennessee fan you probably cannot get behind). Sorry I assumed otherwise, don’t know why I do that.
I’m a St. Louis fan in baseball—can’t say “Cardinal fan” since it brings up unfortunate nasty Louisville Cardinal connotations. I don’t follow baseball in near the same way that I follow college basketball, but I think it’s the most beautiful and the most poetic game, and it is the game of summer, and that quote so lyrically sums up its allure to me.
I can’t really disagree with you about the distastefulness of arrogance…I just feel like in sports fan-dom, this is one area where it’s okay. Because it really doesn’t matter. This isn’t “real life,” it’s sports, where I can say I “hate” Vanderbilt or the Yankees or Coach K, but not really mean hate in any real kind of way. Or maybe it’s just that I’m a Kentucky fan, and we consider basketball arrogance is to be our sacred birthright, and I just want to excuse this in myself ; )

Ah...
St. Louis is one of my “back-up” teams — I’ve been a Braves fan since I was a little girl and would listen to games on the radio on the front porch in the evenings with my daddy. I LOVE Prince Albert. I’m probably a baseball fan number one, then college basketball (although it’s very close). Football is okay — I definitely follow the Vols pretty closely, but I don’t like how there are so few games and each one is so overwhelmingly important…
Good luck with your teams, except when they’re playing mine!

After listening to the interview with Cousins,
he had a group of reporters goading him on and laughing at everything that he said. He said nothing disrespectful, he was simply amazed that HIS coach was overlooked. It was much more that than anything else. And furthermore, he was only repeating what John Wall had said to him, so no, I did not take it as disrespectful, it was DeMarcus answering media questions, and the media trying to get a soundbyte. And Cuz gave them one…..period. And all of this horse manure that is being spread by people from other sites trying to stir up something where there is nothing is much more disturbing to me than that. As far as I am concerned, they can go back to their own blogs and whine to their fans…..I dont want to hear it from them. Everyone wants a piece of us, no matter who they are, and after “Embracing The Hate” all year long and for the last 30-40 years prior, I am about to give a few people a piece.
Pseudo wanna be fans that think that just because we are UK it is open season on us, even a few so-called UK fans on here want to denigrate and bemoan everything that happens with this program. So I have a message for them…If they dont like it…..leave. If it is so bad to be associated with the winningest program in the country and it’s coach and premier players then get out and stay out, they can take a hike for all I care. I mean no disrespect to you oldcat, simply because you are UK Blue through and through, so please forgive my using a response to you as a bully pulpit of sorts, but I have heard enough of this nonsense to last me a lifetime. Cousins is a good kid. And 18 yr old in the body of a 30 yr old man, but a good kid. He has never made a malicious statement to anyone or about anyone, and all of these people trying to turn what he says and does into the next big controversy can kiss my big wide backside.
I AM THE CAT......The Cat In The Hat!!!
No disrespect taken
I was just a little taken back by your remark!
Happy Days are here again The sky is all ways BLUE again Happy days are here again !
I guess I was just fed up with listening to salacious crap from these outsiders.....my apologies.....
I dont like players disrespecting anyone for the purpose of doing just that. But I appreciate humor in all it’s forms….and the kid was just laughing with a group of reporters who were egging him on…..That wasnt intended disrespect.
I AM THE CAT......The Cat In The Hat!!!
I'm with you
Cousins should have kept his yap shut.
Stallings is a good coach. Should he have been named SEC COY, (I would say no, but) whatever… it’s irrelevant — it happened. He’s a good coach and from what I can tell, a good man. Don’t disrespect the man. Cousins showed his youth as he relished in the media attention. And don’t talk or post smack. Smack is for children.
Cousins should have kept his yap shut… I hope Vandy uses his remarks as bulletin board material.
No matter where you're at, there you are
Bulletin Board Material
I hope they use it too – all the more fun when Cousins OWNS Olgivy again. :)

Bruce Pearl is just hilarious....
“I’ve got a tough job. I’ve got to put these guys from different worlds together, right?” Pearl said. "I’ve got guys from Chicago, Detroit … I’m talking about the ‘hood! And I’ve got guys from Grainger County, where they wear the hood.’’

Well, I don't see what that has to do with the conversation....
…but if you want, I could come up with a bunch of stupid stuff Calipari said.

To be honest...
I didn’t hear about it until some time afterwards. I just remember sort of wincing, because I thought it was sort of funny, but that some people wouldn’t think it was. It’s really not the same situation, though. My problem is with a young guy, a freshman, thinking it’s okay to talk trash about the coach of another team. If he had said it about another player, it wouldn’t bother me at all. That’s all. I guess I’ve had “respect your elders” hammered into me for too long (and hammered it into my kids) to think it was funny.

all kidding aside...
i agree with you. cousins should have stuck with the “no comment” answer…
after listening to it again, they (cousins and wall) clearly do not think about what the other teams are doing and who their coaches are – they are focused on playing and the opposing players.

old news.
even though i view the world thru blue tinted glasses, i though it was a funny comment…..probably not appropriate for a college head coach…

in all seriousness....
i am not sure why Cal was the slam dunk choice for COY. Stallings is doing what he is doing without the aid of an AD and he gave up part of his salary so his team could travel to Australia over the summer.
to me, in hind sight, the bigger travesty was BCG winning Co-COY two years ago….
maybe demarcus should not have said anything and when posted on the BB, it will be taken out of context, but taken in context i thought he was just having some fun…

we can agree. I guess I’m just still a little mad about Pearl having to share it in 2008 with Gillispie. Now that was ridiculous.

I agree Memphis
It would have been great if Calipari won it, but the way I see it, he, Pearl or Stallings could have easily won it. They all “deserved” it in my eyes, they were each good choices in their own way. The coaches got to choose, and Stallings won, period the end. Now if Donovon or Stansbury or someone who clearly did not deserve it had somehow won, I might have gotten my panties in a wad.
And about Demarcus…SHOULD he have said it, no probably not. But I am glad that there are still public figures who say dumb, entertaining, honest, REAL things every once in a while, so we fans don’t have to listen to droning, canned PR-speech all the time.

Buried in Mike Miller's
piece for MSNBC was a hyperlink to as good of a synopsis of Kentucky basketball as I’ve read. If anyone you know wants a brief history lesson on UK basketball this 10/08 should help them out. Of course, with the conclusion that we’re the #1 basketball program doesn’t hurt it’s credibility with me. ;-)
I Put UCLA As #1 Program, UK #2, UNC #3 (Here's Why)
UCLA joined NCAA in 1950. (UK joined in 1930’s) Before that, UCLA was NAIB school.
The Bruins have 11 NCAA titles and 18 Final 4 appearances in 60 seasons.
UK has 7 and 13 in 70+ seasons. UNC has 4 NC and 18 FF in 70+ years.

Necessary Inconsistency
I find it noteworthy that you of all people, FYCF, choose to use Final Four appearances and NC’s as metrics for determining excellence when you have been adamant in insisting that when considering the 2000’s those factors are not creditable factors for ascertaining success but rather that wins and losses are the ultimate determinant.
Proof of the Jungian concept I suppose:
"One cannot live without inconsistency"
"Perhaps the fact that we have seen millions voting themselves into complete dependence on a tyrant has made our generation understand that to choose one's government is not necessarily to secure freedom" - Hayek
Seed/region
The Cats will be the #2 seed overall- #1 Kansas(Midwest) #2 Kentucky(East or south whichever is closer to home). This team is so young and inconsistent however i have a bad feeling that we will get beat in the 2nd round- don’t want Siena to be the 8/9 seed in our bracket or we will get beat for sure

Don't say the word "Siena"...
around a Vandy fan, unless you want to see convulsions. Well, that may be a good reason to say it.

East probably
Lexington to Houston 16 hours 52 mins
Lexington to Syracuse 10 hours 35 mins
Lexington to Salt Lake would be over a day of driving and St Louis would be just over 5
Duke is about the same to Houston and Syracuse just a couple hours longer to Houston
Sycracuse can’t be east and Kansas if #1 overall would be St Louis
But if UK is #1 and Duke is 4 I see:
UK – Midwest
Kansas – West
Cuse – South
Duke – East
"Come test me every day if you want," says Pujols, "Everything I ever made in this game I would give back to the Cardinals if I got caught."
Duke never has to leave
North Carolina in early rounds of NCAA’s. Check it out!
