Kentucky Women's Basketball Advances to the NCAA Regional Final

Last night, Kentucky Hoops defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers to advance to the NCAA Kansas City Regional Final.

Nebraska was the #1 seed in the Kansas City region, and Kentucky was the #4 seed.  UK will play #3 seed Oklahoma for a chance to advance to the the Final Four.

The 'Cats squandered a big 19 point lead that they built up in the second half, but managed to overcome a Nebraska comeback to win, 76-67.  This is as far as the Kentucky women have ever been in the NCAA Tournament, and could make history on Tuesday with a trip to the ladies Final Four.

We don't follow UK Hoops closely here at A Sea of Blue, but we hope to do a better job of covering them from here on.
