Does Kentucky have FOUR 2010 lottery picks in on the roster?
Chad Ford's mock draft lottery on ESPN.com seems to think so.
I've run the lotto similuator more than a handful of times, but it generally seems to come up very similar every time. Wall at number 1, Cousins at number 4, Patterson at 11, and Bledsoe at 14. To my knowledge, that's unheard of. I know there have been a handful of teams to get four players drafted in the first round, but four out of the top 14 seems to be an embarassment of riches.

Perfectly Accurate
Perhaps 5 Lotto picks – Wall, Cuz, Patterson, Bledsoe, and Orton.

could be 5
on KSR they had this quote from ESPN’s Chad Ford on what NBA GMs think about Daniel Orton:
They love him. I actually think it’s possible (not likely, but possible) that Kentucky has 5 players in the lottery. Orton is the rawest of the bunch, but he’s big, physical, plays defense and isn’t afraid to mix it up under the basket. I just had a GM in the lottery tell me they liked him more than Cole Aldrich. I have him at No. 27 on our Big Board, but I’m getting the feeling that I’ve got him about 10 to 15 spots too low.
that would be absolutely unheard of. even 5 players in the just the first round would be an unbelievable achievement, but to say there’s a chance, no matter how slight, to get 5 guys in the first 13 is mind-boggling.

5 ??!!!!!!!!!
My HEART is breaking————————I wish the guys ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD (my love too), but I have never been more excited (well maybe when the guy in the white suit came on board and Kentucky born on his team).. With this years team—-what can I say——- Awesome, comes to mind but doesn’t reach the level I want. (don’t have an expanded vocab) 5??? “HAIL”, lets start our own NBA team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
C-A-T-S CATS – CATS- CATS*************
Almost unheard of
In 1999 Puke had 4 of the top 14 picks in the draft. Check out this link for morning sickness if you would like. However, 5 would one up them which would be amazing!
Unsure
of Bledsoe and Orton. Orton hasn’t had enough playing time to develop to his potential. My experience has been these mock drafts are not accurate in the weeks of the tourneys. My gut says Bledsoe stays another year as well as Orton.
agree...
everyone just getting caught up in the tournament….

I would agree, except
that it’s often said, and possibly even true, that the NBA drafts on potential rather than current ability.
You can't teach 6'10"
Even with as little playing time as Orton has seen, there are very few big men in the country with as much potential as he shows.
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
If Michael Olowokandi and Kwame Brown can be #1 overall...
Daniel Orton can be a lottery pick.
LOL.

and look at memphis' #2 pick last year...
the 7’ 3 player from uconn (or was it Georgetown) – i would take Orton any day

Thabeet
UConn. The first player ever drafted in the lottery to end up in the D-League his first year.

point
made. We are all getting excited about four of guys being one and done. I just dont’ see it. You know how rare it is for a one and done to be successful(where is forty when I need him)? Four? I am just not seeing it at all. Plus what it would mean to Kentucky next year is not a good thing.
the way miller is playing...
we might have 6……
