MSU
MSU got the real shaft… HAH… I would rather see the CATS play anybody (at least 58 or 59) of the other teams in the whole tournament than to have to play MSU again!!!!
That is one funky looking bracket - from a purely visual standpoint
HTML can sure produce some strange looking results sometimes. Though I absolutely couldn’t do better so what the heck do I know?
Actually, Duke as a #1 seed makes it a strange looking bracket period ;-)
3 > 2, except for very large values of 2.
Ugh... Geting to RealTimeRPI.com is tough, site must be getting killed right now!!
Is there such a thing as a “good” DoS attack?? LOL
If your wings don't sweep....
OK
so rooting for Duke did me no good whatsoever……Karma for you………you make a deal with the devil and …………..DUKE SOUTH!!!!
Cats Will Be 38-2 Or 37-3 > Only Kansas Can Beat Them
If Cats play to their talent level, only Kansas compares.

Who are you nervous about?
I actually like our draw. I have heard some complaints about Texas as the potential second game, but if Texas plays that kind of ball they like (fast paced) we will crush them…because we play that kind of ball better! None of the real serious Zone defense teams in our bracket….that’s good news.
As always, anything can happen….I like the looks of this one as far as the path to the final four.
syracuse is all...
although we have played zone alot, it has been against teams that use zone as a second defense. that being said, the upside to playing syracuse is that there will be plenty of film on their play so that it may be more predictable…

I'd love to play Syracuse....
That means we are playing in the title game…I’ll take that.
Who am I nervous about? Well, let's see --
We can barely beat Miss St which didn’t even make the field. So I’d say everyone.
Wisconsin – physical, low turnovers, slow down play. They are a match up nightmare.
Texas – talent, talent, talent.
WVU – tough defense, mid-level scoring, played tons of great teams in Big East.
I could keep going. :)
Talent Level
UK and Kansas > the rest.

brackets today and brackets in a week....
will look totally different to us. with a one and done format, you just never know.
I really think there will be alot of blue in NOLA. as much as i want to pound texas, i would prefer wake to win as i bet there will be more tickets being sold by longhorns heading home….

Is this bracket right?
It’s got us playing in Houston for the East Finals?
It also has 2 “East’s” and sends Duke to Syracuse.
I don’ think that’s right is it?
No matter where you're at, there you are
No, I think Syracuse and Houston are backwards.
I’ll check it out and fix it.

I think I have it fixed now.
I’ll have to alert the guys at SBN that they goofed. :-)
The thing is, I wanted to get a bracket up, but most of them are copyrighted and I don’t have permission, so I had to put something up. SB Nation did one up in HTML, but it had a couple of errors.

So much for the S Curve the committee is supposed to be using
I remember a couple of years ago when they talked about implementing an S Curve to match up the 1 and 2 seeds according to their relative strength.
With Ohio State and WVU obviously being in consideration for 1 seeds, you would think that would imply that they are 5 and 6. So why stick them in the brackets with the top overall seeds?
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
No idea.
I can only assume that other considerations interfered. In this case, it looks to me like they favored the top #2 seeds’ geography over the “S” curve.
A Sea of Blue -- Kentucky Sports for the Discerning Fan
That's all I can assume as well
Of course WVU is more south than Villanova… but hey, now I’m splitting hairs.
I still think its a crock though. I would have put Nova in Kansas’ bracket and K State in Kentucky’s. (Not that I look forward to a match up with K State either…)
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
Is it my imagination......
……..or does Duke always seem to get the easiest possible route to the Elite Eight?
That was my first impression too
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
Not sure what I was thinking...
for some unknown reason, I got all “Perdue-Happy” on my bracket. I honestly really didnt think about it at the time, but am sitting here looking it it now with a more “what-the-hell-was-i-thinking” perspective.
…Sigh… Go BoilerMakers!!!
It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.
