It's a busy day today on A Sea of Blue, and a second Open Game Thread is in order.
The Kentucky Wildcats are up big, 32-19 at halftime over the Tennessee Volunteers. Kentucky needs a good second half to head into the SEC Tournament final on a roll. DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall having a big game, and the 'Cats are rebounding the basketball like their very lives depend on it, and given the animation of Calipari so far, they just may.

I think the refs
are letting the teams play rougher but Tennessee hasn’t figured that out, yet. I’m glad we’re adjusting because after watching the Big 10, Big East and Big 12 games they need to learn the physical game. Those conference games were slog fests and the NCAA Tourney will be. too.

The charge calls are getting ridiculous.
The referees seem to think that if JP Prince decides to lie down on the floor, he’s entitled to an offensive foul call.
As long as the refs are consistent I don't have a problem
When they call blocking during a critcal junction it will be a travesty with all the charging calls made thus far.

No other way to put it, you kicked our butts in the second half. The real difference, before it got out of hand, was UK’s ability to hit the 3’s. They shoot like that, I don’t see anybody hanging with them. Best of luck the rest of the way.

Quite the effort
Not even a nut check could deter these kids today. Liked the high five to Orton from Cal. That is the way to beat a team in the tournament, any tournament. Having played them twice already it was nice to see the focus on offense. I swear I see smoke trailing the ball with some of our passes, no wonder we sometimes look sloppy. You’d need a tracking beam to be ready for those heaters. rest, watch tv, play games, study and get plenty of rest for another gut check (no nuts!) at 1E on ABC.
