PrintOMG...I was just out running some errands and listening to ESPN Radio. The Jeremy Schaap show had a lady reporter on there who had interviewed Winston Bennett about his sex addiction and the audio was pretty amazing. Bennett said he was a very successful sex addict because he was largely a loner and his sole focus was to hook up with women. And hook up with women he did. He said it was not uncommon for him to have 3 to 4 partners a day. He said he rarely hung out with teammates and all he did was scout the bars etc. for someone to hook up with. He said it ruled his life. I will try to find a podcast (or whatever) of that interview and post it as a FanShot.
I had never heard any of this before so sorry if it has been discussed here before. Had anyone else heard of this before?

Being a UK basketball player
would have to be among the most potentially disastrous positions for a sex addict to be in—since the amount of people you would have the opportunity to sleep with, if you so chose, is surely basically limitless. I met a trainer for the UK basketball team when I was in college at Western—and reacted basically as if I was a groupie and he was a rock god. Yeah, not an actual player, but a trainer.
And I won’t even go into the time I met Tony Delk when I was 18… ; )

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
Not sure of facts
but winston lost his job at maybe Northern Kentucky for something sexual. He’s now at Mid Continent College near Mayfield, Ky. Just made the Paducah, paper last week for some event.

Winston’s sexual addiciton became public some time ago. He was fired from the Celtics for having an affair at the C’s preseason practice facility, which was on a college campus. At that time he admitted his sex addiction and entered a treatment program. He remains married to the same woman he’s been married to for many years.
He was fired from KSU (by Derrick Ramsey) for punching a player. Ramsey said at the time that it was the hardest thing he’d ever had to do.
