It does matter what you say
I saw the following article from my favorite sportswriter Mike D. from sportingnews.com. Its an article talking about Patterson and his feelings about the fans reaction to the South Carolina game. This article just brought tears to my eyes. I don't want any Kentucky player to feel underappreciated or loved by Big Blue Nation but especially Patrick Patterson. I love this kid. He like any other non freshman on our team, have been through so much the last few years. We must be careful about what we say and do with our boys. I really don't see any regular ASOB fans writing Patrick on his facebook and saying what they did. I do want to encourage you to write some positive thoughts to him though. If you have a facebook page, please just send him a message. You don't have to be a friend to send him a message. He does accept anyone, but I haven't requested him.....to me its just not my thing to request someone I don't know. Still though, I sent him a message a few weeks ago when this happened, praising him. I really hope that yall do the same. Please think about it and do it. To many times we are quick to fuss about things but we don't praise when praise is needed. Always think about what you say. :)

Anyone who would personally attack Patrick Patterson is a bona fide idiot
he knew he had a bad game….he worked on it and moved on….time for everyone else to….
Resistence Is Futile......We Are Blue
I have no idea why DeCoursey picked now to bring this up, but it should be left alone.....
we have some morons in our midst….all we can do is try to overcome their ignorance
Resistence Is Futile......We Are Blue
I am glad he did
I think he did it to point out the same things I did. Mike D. is not anti Kentucky. He is a very fair minded reporter.
actually I wasnt being hard on DeCoursey....but it was weeks ago....and we hashed this thing out when it happened...
its not a good thing under any circumstances…..but we need to focus on the next two weeks….not what happened three weeks ago…..or 4….cant remember how far back it was….thats why it should be easier to trace people who message this crap…..publicize who they are, and they might not be so quick to act like an ass
Resistence Is Futile......We Are Blue
I didnt mean to seem disrespectful ten.......excuse me if I did, it was not my intent
I just dont want the kid to have to think about rehashing this…..its bad enough that he has had to deal with it once. And right now this team needs him focused more than ever. The whole idea that someone can send these messages without any chance of publication or being outed offends me greatly.

I agree-
Water under the bridge. We discussed it weeks ago, and it’s past time to move on… IMO

Ok
let me reiterate the point of this post………..it was too encourage our team with notes of thanks……….not to rehash what went down a few weeks ago. I put up the article because I wanted to point out in PP’s own words what we say does matter to him and others. Again please understand…………It was to encourage you to be positive….
Link doesn't work....for me anyway

I agree tenken totally, without-out-doubt,
absolutely, wholeheartedly, exactly 110%. :-)
They are NOT fans, IMO.
Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!
not rehashing
if it was painful for fans to watch that game, imagine how those kids felt, being there!!!…i was shocked and dismayed, but not towards our Cats…i HATE to think about anyone hurting those guys…they’ve given sooo much to us and UK…showing the LOVE here!!!…now the article on Tony Greene does give fans something to complain about…and imagine those kids livin’ that kind of hell, trying to be all they can be and running into trash like that on the level they are working…admiration abounds for our Cats!!!…i love ’em
