Tonight, the Kentucky Wildcats are trying to double down on home games against tough SEC foes, and welcome the Mississippi Rebels into Rupp Arena for a Big Tuesday tilt on the Worldwide Leader.

Kentucky is looking to prove tonight that they are the team that you must go through to win the SEC championship after a convincing win over the Vanderbilt Commodores, while the Ole Miss Rebels would love to right the ship after an unexpected loss to the resurgent Arkansas Razorbacks. But Ole Miss has two bench players doubtful with injury in Will Bogan and Reginald Buckner, so that will make their task tonight harder.

What UK needs to do to win:
- Force Ole Miss to put the ball on the floor instead of allowing them to shoot threes.
- Win the battle of the boards, particularly on offense.
- Get the ball inside as much as possible to DeMarcus Cousins and Patrick Patterson.
- Get production off the bench, and don't forget the short corner jumper.
What Kentucky must avoid:
- Turnovers.
- Foul problems in the front line.
- Temper tantrums.
- Forgetting about Patrick Patterson.
Ken will be doing the postmortem for this game, as I am entertaining out of town guests tonight. But be assured, my DVR is set and ready. This game would do a lot to give the Wildcats major momentum for their road trip to visit the Bayou Bengals this weekend, and solidify their spot atop the SEC East.

we are currently flipping a house, as a matter of fact. Good investment no matter if you sell or just end up renting, IMO. : )
the house is currently my office......partner bought it from city cable co......
would leave the front room as my office on main st, but it would give us 1750 ft living space…..300.00 less a month payment from what we have now…..4 bedroom 2 bath with 2 car detached garage….upstairs is set up as an apartment right now, but can be changed in 2 days back to the normal house

I’ve watched OK. State a few times now.. Pilgrim is a beast and woulda been great in a UK uniform. Not the immediate impact of Cuz, but damn good in the long run

stuff worries me. I don’t think the physical effort is the problem, just bad focus (like on the missed FT) and some bad decisions (Miller TO in the lane, Bledsoe trying to force a bounce pass to Orton). Let’s see what the second half brings.

I think that goes away asap......but I honestly believe he is trying to get the guys on the bench

The substitution pattern may have had something to do with it...
Cal was running a bunch of guys in and out after about the first 9 minutes. No continuity but I understand his reasoning. Got to get these other guys playing some for tourney time. Never know when a tweaked ankle or foul trouble will show up…

I know I usually reserve my rantings for the NCAA
but I am getting damn tired of this disrespect from ESPN……..not one of those so-called “experts” has enough sense to get in out of the rain, and they would beat a dead horse to get a fart out of his ass……I am sick of this BS from commentators and ex-coaches alike….someone needs to make a call to Bristol and tell them to have their heads removed from their anal cavities as soon as possible, because they are likely to smother to death….
