The Ole Miss game last year represented the turning of the season from one of hope and joy to one of weeping and gnashing of teeth. Whether the game itself was in some way responsible is debatable, but regardless of that - what followed that game was very different from what had preceeded it.

This is the 109th matchup between Mississippi and UK. UK leads the series 96 - 12. UK lost the regular season matchup last year, but beat Ole Miss in the SEC tournament and is 10-1 in the last 11 and won 5 in a row against the Rebels at Rupp.
