NBA Report: UK Now has Three Alumni As Starting PG
Not sure if everyone i aware of this or not, but there are now three UK Alumns: John Wall, Rajan Rondo, and Eric Bledsoe who are the starting PG's for their respective teams. I am fairly certain in pointing out that this has never happened before in the NBA with UK Alums, and if things went in a certain direction, we could be looking at four next year. I do not believe that any other school can claim this stat at any time in the history of the NBA, but if anyone has the stats to prove me wrong feel free.Could 2 or 3 starting big men be far behind? Doubtful, but hey, anything can happen!

May never end
Teague could be the next after Knight…!
Wouldn’t that just be mind blowing and it could happen. Knight has all the tools and under coach will develop just like all his other super NBA PG’s have. Then PG in waiting Marquis Teague in his footsteps. I love to dream big – go Cats..!
I don’t think any other school has even two PG’s playing in the NBA simultaneously. And Cal pumped out two in one year – amazing.

even more mind blowing

UK Has Rarely Had 3 PG In The NBA Much Less Starting At The Same Time
None of the 1990’s PG (Woods, Ford, Epps, Turner) even made the NBA – except a brief “cup of coffee” stay by Turner.
UK has never been noted as PG-U before.

Geargetown had Allen Iverson
Regiie Williams, and David Wingate in the NBA at the same time, though only Iverson was a starter. That was just the first school I decided to look at. And since I’m not a college bball historian, it took me a lot of time to find that!
It seems to me that having three guards in the league is not rare. Having three PGs probably is rare. And three starters I doubt has ever happened before.
Reggie Williams
Was 6-7 or 6-8 F not PG.
Wingate wasn’t PG either. He was SG.
