Kentucky 35 @ Ole Miss 42: Post Game Discussion Thread

I have no time for a proper postmortem, so I will defer that to later.

I do want to congratulate Ole Miss for the outstanding victory and thank them for the hospitality.  Many may be tempted to say that Kentucky lost this game by giving the ball away, but while you are doing that, don't forget to congratulate Ole Miss for taking advantage of the turnovers, and going 6-for-6 touchdowns in red zone appearances.

For the moment, here are some topics for discussion:

  • With this loss, what do you foresee for the rest of the season?
  • What did you think of Mike Hartline's performance, throwing for 300 yards?
  • Is this defense doomed, or is it just youth?
  • What do Phillips and Brown do about the defense, particularly in the red zone.

I'll have some analysis later, when I get a chance.
