Watching Vandy and Florida,

These two teams will definitely test our perimeter defense. The only action the inside players are getting is put backs after rebounds. Jenkins kid for Vandy has a sweet, sweet stroke.

Me too.

This is a really good game. Kenny Boynton is impressing me. So is Vandy’s intelligent game.

Both teams are tough.

Along with a big Kentucky win...

…I would love to see Tennessee knock off Kansas… That would be SWEET..!!!

Steelers fan 1st! UK is my 2nd love.

Louisville struggling vs. St. Johns

Down 4 with under 2 to go in half. What’s the matter with the cards?

by Thomas Hunt Morgan on Jan 9, 2010 12:51 PM EST reply actions

Saw that.

Interesting.

What time

is the Tennessee/Kansas game on? And which channel?

Also, any guesses on who the special game-day guest for today that Coach Calipari keeps talking about is? Supposedly someone who “he was lucky enough to meet this summer”? He keeps repeating it various places like it’s something of importance and a big deal. Hmmm..???

Sunday @ 3:30 on CBS.

BSC,

I haven’t really searched around, but I saw on a link Tru posted once for Rush The Court, there is a box for today’s games with times and channels. I usually look there for a quick reference. :-)

If LBJ starts showing some interest in the program

you won’t find any better advertisement!! Other than a Championship, of course!! LOL

by EagleTDL on Jan 9, 2010 2:45 PM EST up reply actions

That's a good guess.

If true, vince would have a heart attack. : )

I’m not a Steelers fan, but I do love Mike Tomlin. He just embodies everything an NFL coach should be, IMO. And, I bet he would look fab in some sort of UK-blue apparel. : )

by BigSkyCat on Jan 9, 2010 3:10 PM EST up reply actions

It's true.....gonna be sitting with Joker

per Twitter.

Cool...

First thought that pops into my pumpkin is “Is Joker trying to make recruiting inroads up North??” That would be nice to see!

Yay!

I think Mike Tomlin IS a big deal. Good job, coach! : )

by BigSkyCat on Jan 9, 2010 3:18 PM EST up reply actions

And how much

“shop talk” is going to go during those 2.5 hours?? :-) Any “in” with an NFL team would be good for the program, that’s for sure!

Have to agree with ya BSC...

You seen his press conferences before?? LOL Like a young Papa Brooks; “Yes”, “No”, “Maybe”… Doesn’t say alot, and that’s OK. Tough, hard-nosed coach, not afraid of saying, “No, we’re going to do it my way”, have to admire him for that…

The 1996 Champion team....Bozich has a story

in the Courier today about Derek Anderson’s DVD project about the team. For those interested and who amount us won’t buy this!!! Apparently it will be screened Feb. 12 at the Hyaat in Lexington. $33.96 is the price he quotes and he gives a link to their site…..untouchablesofkentucky.com. I checked the site and not sure that it can be ordered yet but in his story, he writes it can be pre-ordered.

I'm in N Abalama

so my call letters won’t work for you!! LOL Try this link and see what you can find… Also, once Tru opens up the game thread, somebody on Justin TV will be broadcasting it and the link will show up eventually. Good Luck!!

If your wings don't sweep....

by EagleTDL on Jan 9, 2010 2:36 PM EST up reply actions

I'm close to Murray and have Directv

and this game is not on tv for me. Again. This season has been the absolute WORST as far as games not being on normal, non-extra package channels. They are always shown on channels that you have to have paid for the the “sports pack” to get. When I lived in Nashville, I had a basic kind of cable package, and got every single game. Move to Kentucky, and I haven’t gotten almost half the games so far. I’m not sure what the deal is, but I’m becoming more and more annoyed by this.

I’m just hoping I’ve be able to find it online. Luckily Justin tv has saved my ass many times.

by blue kentucky girl on Jan 9, 2010 2:37 PM EST up reply actions

Thanks so much.

I know they’re gonna win anyway. Thanks!

by Donnie and Katie on Jan 9, 2010 2:41 PM EST reply actions

Should be on DirecTV 724

Right now they got the Mississippi battle on. I never signed up for any sports package, but both the Miss game and the Auburn – SC game were on. Hoping that UK will be on as well. Good game BTW, between the Miss’s.

by phrohg on Jan 9, 2010 3:39 PM EST reply actions

Also will be on

ESPN 360. I’ve watched a couple of games that way.

by phrohg on Jan 9, 2010 3:41 PM EST up reply actions

thanks phrohg!

Looks like you’re right…unless they black out the channel at gametime, looks like it will be carried here. Hooray!
