ESPN Sucks!

And why would I make such a statement??  I just witnessed some plain ol' biased reporting, that's why!  After the spanking we gave the Razorbacks today, I've been in pretty good spirits!  And I'm sure that most who dally here feel the same way...  We saw an absolutely lights-out first half by our beloved Cats, and while they didn't blow Arkansas out of the gym in the second half, they at least kept their foot on the pedal enough not to let them back in the game.  So again, what's to complain about??

As I mentioned before, it's been a good day...  Got some new headlight bulbs into Momma's 4Runner before the game; gotta get them brownie points, ya know?? ;-)  Watched the game and got to blog with all the gang at ASoB which is always enjoyable.  Had some flautas postgame at the local Mexican place with my lovely little bride of 13 years (soon to be 14 here in a couple of days).  Came home, watched a couple of shows on the ol' DVR, sipped on some Woodford's, life's good right??

10:00 CST rolls around, time for Sportscenter...  What do I see??  Highlights of the Texas/UConn game is up first??  What???  What's happening here??  Next they show KState and OK ST and then roll into the Tenn and Clemson game.  Then they show some graphic about #1's losing twice in the same week...  OK, maybe I get it, Texas lost twice this week and I can somehow tie all this together.

KState beat Texas who's also beaten by UConn.  KState loses to OK St, got that...  So how does the Dawg's putting a whipping on Tenn play into this??  OK, I realize that I don't understand the "producing process" on ESPN; I don't know and I really don't care!!  But I know, in my heart of hearts, that the mighty Cats will be on next, I just know it...

What do I see next??  I see Duke beating Clemson!  After I shake my head to clear the Woodford fumes out, I actually rewind the DVR to see if I missed something!! LOL  I mean, showing the #6 team's highlights before the #2's, who'll now be #1 when the polls come out Monday, what kind of sense does that make??  So, to relieve the pain, off the couch for more Woodford...

ESPN finally gets to the Cats after showing the Thunder/Cavs highlights and some NFL news.  However, we only get about 45 seconds worth of highlights...  Granted, they did a nice little piece on the team getting back to #1, but really, does it matter??  ESPN's bias towards the ACC came through tonight, loud and clear!!  As our favorite green bug says...

EMBRACE THE HATE!

So nice to be back on top!! :-)
