Bad deal for Redd, who seems like a great guy. Can Jodie step up and earn his next contract with Redd out?

Will Meeks play?

I doubt it, as once NBA coaching has you pegged, that is pretty much where you are at. It would take a miracle for him to see signifigant playing time, because it says something about the ability of the staff to evaluate talent if he is successful. IE: Tayshaun Prince’s success made idiots out of the coaching staff at Detroit, because they initially dismissed him as not being able to play, only proven to be wrong later when an emergency playoff situation finally got him some pt. The staff at Milwaukee are not going to set themselves up for that. If he is successful they look like idiots for not playing him, if he is not they look like idiots for playing him. With the horrible bball already happening in Milwaukee, I doubt they will take what they see as any chances.

Dunno... they passed on Carmelo Anthony because they had Prince

But otherwise I tend to agree. Hopefully Meeks can get some PT out of the deal.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

off the bench last night. It’ll be hard not to find some PT for a guy who can do that.

I would love to see that..

As a long time Bball follower I believe NBA scouting is a joke, driven more by potential for popularity than actual playing ability. I mean, Jodie barely gets drafted while Rubio was seen as a top pick? The guy couldn’t hold Meek’s jock.
