The Big Blue Daily Mail -- What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas Edition
Well, Las Vegas is still here. It's still hot. And for some reason, the place is crowded when I didn't expect it to be. But it still has the same smarmy charm as always.
Now, for the news:

"There were some mistakes technique wise and some assignment errors in the kicking game, on defense and on offense," Brooks said. "If we don't correct those things they will cost us football games as we move forward." Brooks is right, this was not a perfect game, or even a game that had few errors to critique. -
John Clay: 'A significant change in Mike Hartline's game' | KentuckySports.com
We had heard about it. The coaches talked about it after the closed practices. His teammates talked about it after the closed scrimmages. All fall camp, the talk had been how much better Kentucky quarterback Mike Hartline was than a year ago. Indeed. -

And what about Louisville? The Cards toiled to beat an abysmal Indiana State 30-10 at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Saturday. Bobby Petrino's old U of L teams would have stacked 70 points on the sorry Sycamores. This isn't that Louisville. Heh.

Congrats to Trevard :-)
and the article on Slam Online, No. 4 Kentucky, has it about right. :-)
Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!
Agreed...
I liked that article. I thought it was pretty fair and got it just about right on where we should start the season off in the rankings (since the preseason rankings are not going away any time soon).
We all expect it to be a great season....
But with it being pre-season, we have not seen the recruits in action. Or the new offense in action. I still hope we can change our own rankings to #1… after the preview…LOL….Time will tell. But if we are to be realistic about it, we just don’t know at this point in the game.
:-)

Jersey for Obama
“David Scott, the editor of CoachCal.com, said fans used “bad language” in their postings."
Rush the Court reports that the bad language referenced above included racist statements. If true, I hope that Kentucky fansites will actively excoriate the offenders. I like Kentucky basketball, but …
It seems each fanbase has its (apparently) subhuman members, but the Kentucky fans might represent our best opportunity to locate the missing link.
Could you share any information you have on how the members of the current basketball team feel about the disrespect directed toward President Obama?
Yeah it only seems to perpetuate the
myth of prejudice shared by Kentucky fans and citizens in general and keeps the Baron entrenched in a negative spotlight. Sigh……
I LOVE COOKING WITH WINE
Sometimes I even put it in the food.
Leave the politics...
…off the blog, please.
I am unaware of any racially charged comentary in that matter, and if any was made, I am sure I speak for all our members that we deplore such comments.
I also would ask fans of other teams to refrain coming here and demanding a reproof of the actions of others. It is unseemly and unethical, particularly actions for which I have seen no credible proof yet, and for which you have provide no evidence.

Yuck.

AP Poll: Gators #1, Vols 30 Votes, Cats 0
BYU moves into Top 10. UT is a FB school, UK is a BB school, that explains the 30-0 in my mind.
"[O]f those men who have overturned the liberties of republics, the greatest number have begun their career by paying an obsequious court to the people; commencing demagogues, and ending tyrants." --Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 1
Channel didn't hurt either.
More people watched the UT game on ESPN than UK on ESPNU. That and all of Kiffin’s shenanigans created a buzz which made more people want to watch his first game.
I feel better now
The Norfork State Spartans won there opener. I guess we scheduled them at the right time, you know, during a ‘down’ year.
Just teasing.
They did win though. Middle and Western lost.
Louisiana Monroe scored 20 against Texas in their loss.
Eastern played Indiana tough.
We’ve got to keep up with little stuff like this. Especially this week. Nothing going on.
Who’s going to pay attention to the Georgia-South Carolina game?
UK-Miami Oh game replay
Is on the SEC Network as are all the SEC games. I just had to see all those touchdowns again (-:
I didnt know there was an SEC Network....Is it affiliated with another network?
Is it available in Lexington?
Thanks

I didn't know either SevenRings....
I did come up with an online digital network. SEC digital network. You will have to create a free account with a password to watch the video.
I am having a little trouble with the video queuing up, (not sure who’s problem)…LOL… but it is there. (supposedly) Technology at it’s greatest. Hope this helps :-)
Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!
Firefox users......FYI
I think the problem is Firefox compatibility with the SEC Digital Network. I used Internet Explorer and the video loaded. Just for your information. :-)
Blue... there is no other color to Bleed !!!
Yes it's there on the SEC Network
Something new this year….first run throutgh I had a lot of gaps, but then it was fine after the replay. May just be me with video replay.
Glad everyone found it.
This was parrt of the original SEC contract and ESPN contract with the SEC. They were esentially putting the local Newspapers and media out of SEC coverage, But they changed it because of many local broadcasts area objected and the newspapers, And the local media won against the SEC,
Funny...
…you mention euthanasia at race tracks and then beat a dead horse by bringing up Louisville’s lousy football team.
