Around SBN: Diego Sanchez and the Dangers of Fame in MMA

Yes, that's right, according to DeMarcus Cousins -- he is a badass. On the court, that is.

This piece takes a look at Cousins' on the court personality and although I think some of his statements could be seen as controversial, I also think that his brazen, get-in-my-way-and-you’d-better-watch-out style of play is something we have been missing and I’m personally really looking forward to seeing it.

sounds good

Not at all like the Randolph Morris-esque court demeanor some were expecting.

I'd Be Happy With Morris' 15+ PPG Output

Morris was a good player, just a different style than Cousins.

Cousins plays the game as if the opponent just insulted his mother.

’Nuff said.

It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.

Great find BigSky

I knew he had an attitude on the court but just Wow. He may need to calm it down just a little? We don’t need a lot of tech’s or ejections. Maybe a little anger management in there son.

An Enforcer

We haven’t had an “Enforcer” since Magloire. We will need that presence against Miss.St this year. Also should really help Patterson work hard in practice

That's who I thought of too

Someone with a big chip on his shoulder.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

Chuck Hayes?

Pretty much of an “enforcer” around the hoop.

No offense here Forty

But I see Chuck Hayes as more of a PPat type because of their personalities.

Different Personality On The Court

Hayes was a beast (6-5 maybe 240+ pounds) down low.

He ranks high on the All-Time Rebounds list at UK. And pretty high in Steals and Blocks, too.

Looked It Up

7th in Rebounds.

10th in Blocks.

8th in Steals.

Not bad for 6-5.
