He is doing well in the practices with the Redskins and presently working on the special teams unit. Go Jeremy!

Yes it is a great write

The Redskins got a steal with Jeremy IMO. He is so intelligent and work driven to do whatever they want him to do. I got a little tickle when he said he had not been on special teams unit since HS. He’ll be fine and I wish him a great NFL careeer. Not too many like that guy we loved at UK.

Good article

One minor advantage from a DC public relations standpoint for Jarmon is the uniqueness of being selected in the supplemental draft. While he may have picked in the first 3 rounds had he entered this year’s draft, we’ve officially hit the slow sports time of the year and there is not much else for DC sports papers to write about other than the Redskins (sorry Nats), and by extension, their newest signee!

As a Cat fan living in DC, I’m excited for Jarmon to spend some time learning the ropes on the one local sports team this area passionately cares about. Maybe he’ll even get some PT this year and give Brooks an extra recruiting tool on the trail.

Thanks kykat51

Great find and great article on Jeremy. A happy story for a Wildcat is always welcome.

Good one kykat!

I am a Cowboys fan and cannot stand the Redskins but once again, when it comes to professional sports I’ll have to lay down my allegiances somewhat and root for Jarmon. I have a buddy who is primarily a Hog fan but is also a Redskins fan, I’ve been giving him grief bout having a WILDCAT on his team!! :)

It looks like Brooks n Co are churning out smart players that will make NFL squads. More kids see that and recruiting will come easier. The “big boys” will see that the road to the NFL can also run though UK and with not many * players around, playing time will be easier to come by. Just a few more years….UK is on the right path.

More On Jarmon

Not to be outdone by The Post, The Times also has a piece on JJ. Some similarities: smart, hard working, teammates like him.
