Tipton: The Kentucky Men's Basketball Schedule is Out
You can read the article on Kentucky.com here, and here is a link to the schedule (pdf).
We'll still have an open thread about it tonight for the show, where it will be "unveiled" again.

WKYT will now scratch Tipton from the Christmas Card list
First time I shot her, shot her in the side.
Hard to watch her suffer, but with the second shot she died...
How does Tipton rate an advance copy of the schedule??
I thought they banned him from all benefits of being in the press….hehehe….maybe they should send him an advance copy of the results
Remember, we're having fun now!!!
2 L (Tops) OOC And 2 Or 3 L In SEC = 4 Or 5 L In Regular Season
That would be about 25-5 in regular season.

Show
So what is the point of the show now? Is it supposed to be a big hoopla of some sort with celebrity guest appearances or something?
It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.

I thought there would be less yawner games. Maybe some of these were already under contract?
As far as the out of conference schedule goes, I’ve seen better….
Agreed

It takes two to tango
I imagine that finding more difficult games will be easier having a whole year to work on the schedule. Even with a beefed up schedule, there will be plenty of yawner games. Playing a top team from the A-Sun will still be a yawner, but will look a lot better in strength of schedule ranking.
Florida once!
I thought we would play Florida twice like we do with other east teams. I want to see them dismantled in Florida (assuming they will be because I can’t predict anything) but I will settle for the game at rupp.

Nevermind
The schedule I seen first only had Florida at rupp but I found the real schedule and now my previous post doesn’t matter.

How much harder can it get?
We play UNC, IU, UofL as usual… plus we get a game against Stanford or Virginia and Connecticut. UNC-Asheville is generally a pretty tough mid-major as well (though I think the big 7’6" guy Kenny George has graduated). Other than that, its a pretty standard schedule. The only place I think it could get much tougher is if we had a harder first game in the Cancun Classic.
Other than upgrading some of those low major teams to mid-majors from conferences like the MVC, I don’t know how I would change it.
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."
Kenny George
lost half his foot and is no longer playing….but im not sure that he has graduated yet. He was able to keep his scholarship and finish school.
DEEETROIT BASKETBALLL!!!
Other than
Rider or Stanford/Virginia, the season doesn’t really start until Dec. 5. I like the late starts of the ESPN games, because when I work, I don’t get home until 8:15 p.m.
"You are what you are and you ain't what you ain't"
UK loses two games
in the regular season.
I LOVE COOKING WITH WINE
Sometimes I even put it in the food.
