Saturday, Aug 1st 5-7pm Jodie Meeks will be at Towne Mall in Elizabethtown,Ky to sign autographs. The cost is $20 and includes a limited edition print of his 54pt scoring record.

Trying to decide if I want to fight the crowd or not
The ads I’ve seen say he’s signing the print mentioned above… I could care less about that. What I want is to get my “Witness” T-shirt signed…
If I thought for sure he would sign that, I’d be there in a heartbeat. Since I don’t know for sure, I’m not positive what I’ll do…
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

Signing
I went to the Scott Padgett signing in Louisville and while you had to buy the print, you could also bring in – I think it was two – other pieces to have him sign. You could always call and ask.
P.S. The cost for this one is about half what the Padgett signing was! ;)
It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.

Maybe not
I got to the Padgett signing right when it got started and only waited like 5 minutes. I was really shocked at how few people were there. There was no one waiting behind me so we actually stood around and talked to him for awhile and took pictures with him. He even tried to let my son (who was two at the time) hold his championship ring!! My son, however, was a bit intimidated by his size and passed on the opportunity! ;)

Padgett
My soon to be mother-in-law is first cousins with Scott. However, its a very large family… so I don’t think that gets me any nearer to him!
I’m betting that Jodie Meeks fresh out of school draws a bigger crowd that Scott Padgett a few years out.

We got engaged on our trip to see the Biltmore Estate a couple weekends ago. We’ll return there on December 4th to make it all official.
