Big Blue Madness at Commonwealth

hey guys,

I have not heard anything on the idea of a possibility for Big Blue Madness at Commonwealth in a pretty long while, anybody out there in UK land got any updates. I think it would be pretty spectacular. I saw a mock-up photo of what it would look like the other day and it gave me pure chills. My idea, start raising money for a dome and turf!!! Just a thought.  Football deserves it too. Go Cats!!! I just can't wait for the fall

Logistical nightmare

according to all of the “experts”, but if there IS a way to do it, Calipari will make sure it gets figured out.

Remember, we're having fun now!!!

Dome and turf

Horrible idea. Football is meant to be played outdoors.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

MIDNIGHT MADNESS

It’s what we are all about——-MADNESS!!!!!!!! I have for a long time thought we should DOME Commonwealth!! Maybe there is something I’m missing. Parking? (is it any better at Rupp or anywhere downtown? An idea for parking——-build a hugh parking complex away from stadium and run shuttles back and forth. (of course for a small fee.) The fans in this Commonwealth should be able to get seats for the games (at least some of them).
As I have said before—-when we had the UKIT and the Big 4 Classic, it was sometimes the only opportunity to get seats. My family attended regulary at these events. I’m 4 it TOTALLY!!!!!!!! Being in mid 60’s it’s not feasable to clime to the rafters now. The only way I can sometimes get tickest is 3 or 4 times the price! Scalping is illegal, but sometimes it’s what you have to do. So we are breaking the law?? Build something that can acommadate the
BBN. We support and we pay!!

will not happen

winning 3 bowl games in a row gives brooks veto power – in fact, he should not even be asked to let bball use the stadium, it should not be done. with 3 key home games coming right after midnight madness, the risk to the field is too great….

but it is fun to dream about……….

only one rule in my house - uk has to be your favorite college bball team

Nah.

Too many potential problems, not the least of which is the weather.

I agree......

The weather will be the main problem, plus I agree with memphis, we shouldn’t even ask for Commonwealth. I also agree that it is fun to dream anyway.
