Oregon State

Coach is Craig Robinson, President Obama’s brother-in-law.

Correct

Craig Robinson’s first season (08-09) 18-18, 7-11 in Pac 10 play (0-18 in Pac 10 play 07-08). Finished on a high note OSU won post season College Basketball Invitational Championship, including 2 overtime games.

Rumpr is that Craig Robinson will be hired away soon.

Wonder if Mitch hooked Euton up at OSU?

Seems like a rather random school to be recruiting him. Perhaps Mitch made a call to someone in the athletic dept (he was the AD there, right?) to give the kid a look?

Also, my favorite quote: “I was also upset when they hired Calipari. I know all he plays in athletic players and he even said in his first practice, if your not athletic and can beat your man to the basket you are not going to play for me, so I knew I wouldn’t play for him and that’s why I de-committed.” If that doesn’t tell the difference between the ancien regime and Cal, I don’t know what does. . .

That was my favorite quote also....

at least he thinks he is not athletic enough, and says he is working on that, which will only help him get better. A good thing. :-)

Agreed

I know what he was trying to say… but it does sound like “Coach Cal says he’ll only play good players. So I can’t go there.”

ROFL

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

Kinda Doubt It

OSU has experienced Regime Change since Mitch was there.

Certainly possible but (I think) doubtful.
