Meeks is going to the NBA
I just read that Jodie Meeks will be staying in the NBA draft. I wish him the best, he will be missed. I think we have enought talent to replace him, but I don't expect UK to be playing to its full ability untill after the New Year, as this team will take time to gel. I am still very excited about this coming year, and this will also help temper the expectations some, which may be nice. Let KU be the presean favorite and have all the expectations, then UK can come in and win, when it counts, in March/April.
Here is my guess on the starting line-up:
PG: John Wall
SG: Dodson
SF: Miller
PF: Patterson
C: Cousins
Still have a lot of talent, plus great depth too.

Bledsoe And Wall
The G starters, I think.

Bledose
I am not sure Bledsoe as a consistent enough jump shot (and three point shot) to play the SG position as a starteer. I do think with Meeks not coming back, Bledsoe will see more playing next year and fill it at the 2 guard, but not start, but I could be wrong.

DDMO
2 PG are ideal in the DDMO that Calipari runs.

Bledsoe
I have to concerns with Bledsoe playing the shooting guard spot. One is his perimeter shot which is shaky and the other is his ability to guard the two spot. I think it’s likely we could see him at the two but as of now I would be more inclined to say Dodson would be.

Jodie
He is family-yesterday, today and tomorrow. When a young man puts that shirt on ,He is family. No matter the path he takes-(sucess or failure both on and off court) he is still family.

I bet we get
a glimpse of Ramon Harris in the starting lineup. Good defensive player, senior, leader. He might improve and flourish in the DDMO

Nothing would surprise me
We will have a lot of flexibility with this roster. The freshmen will most likely have a ways to develop defensively so a guy like Harris could really provide some leadership. I would love to see Harris get more confidence in his shot. Patterson and Orton will really need to knock down the mid range to help open things up.

If your looking for another player for this class...
Noel Johnson=great fit
Tall athletic guard. Great shooter and perimeter game. good scorer. Not a great ball handler. His game maybe similar to Meeks’. He was released from his loi to usc after all of this tim floyd-o.j. mayo mess
