G.J. Villarino's father is upset with coach Cal
In Jerry Tipton's latest "Notebook," G.J.'s father has some thoughts on John Calipari telling his son, in so many words, "You're not good enough."
Honestly, if I were G.J., my fathers response to what happened would have been much less, shall we say, diplomatic -- Just a father taking up for his son.

Vilarino Is Much Better Fit At Gonzaga
He is talented. You don’t make 1st team All-State in Texas 2 straight years without talent.
But he can develop (slowly) at Gonzaga. He’ll be a quality PG as junior and senior there.

I thought his decision to attend Gonzaga was a good one
He’ll get the play there, in a good system, with an excellent coach.
I’m happy for him, and very much interested in seeing how he performs.

I agree, but here's the thing,
He had in his comment “in a nice way”. That was an excellent choice for his dad. We parents tend to hear things concerning our children, maybe a little different sometimes. We all do. We cannot help it. :-)

Coach Cal says he kids not good enough....?
Then he is not good enough… period..! It’s Cal’s team now, not Billy G’s…
