Stansbury has never been remotely involved with any NCAA infractions, as far as I know, which makes this all the more interesting. I’m sure, as Byrne says, that Sidney and his family will be fully vetted before he plays one minute for the Bulldogs.
It does speak volumes that USC passed, though. Mayo had more baggage than Charlie Manson. I guess we’ll see how it all shakes out.
The $$$ that everyone is worried about is the
compensation from the club basketball team that his step-dad coached. How else do you explain a $2 mil house on a medical assistants salary? Maybe his ma had a profitable corner somewhere?
