Happy Memorial Day..!

I'd like to wish all BBN a happy memorial day, especially those with love one's in the military. As many of you know, my son is proudly serving in Iraq and is due to come home in September.

Thanks to all that serve and have served...

Also, thanks to all the mothers & fathers out there who have given their son's & daughters so that we all can continue to live in a free land...  We have the freedom to voice our opinions, even in little blogs like this one ...  lol  (we take the little things for granted some times)

Here's praying that each and every one of the young men and women all come back home safe...

Sorry, I'm not the best writer out there folks, but you all know what I'm trying to say..  :-)

Vince

Thanks, Vince and godspeed to your son and all those such as he. Living outside the US where Memorial Day is just another Monday one has to make an extra effort to remember but I do fly Old Glory off my terrace.

Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

I think....

…you did great with this fanpost, Vince. : )

I don’t really have anyone close to me serving at the moment, but I do think what your son (you must have raised him right : ) ) and what so many others do for us is wonderful. It certainly isn’t enough and might seem rather silly even, but I do want to say a simple “thanks” on this day and Happy Memorial Day to you, too, Vince. : )
