Press Conference Sat MAY 23rd

A 10:00 am EST Press conference has been called by the UK Athletics Program. This press conference is supposedly NOT basketball related.

Word on the net is that this conderence may have been called to announce that UK Head Football Coach Rich Brooks is retiring due to health reasons. The conference is not supposed to be about anything related to basketball and is not believed to be good news.

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Update: Matt Jones at KSR Twittered and confirmed that the press conf. IS NOT Bball related at 9:50 pm est.

Update #2: Jeremy Jarmon has tested positive for an NCAA banned substance....I WAS WRONG....Thank God.....but repercussions could be bad for the program.

My apologies to Coach brooks and to all of you....

Coach has not “Twittered” in three days. Seems very odd. He had been making it in 2-3 times a day

He could be playing if he was practicing on Wed. I don’t know though. We are not totally sure if any of the coaches are doing this solely. I really doubt if the are doing each one. Like coach Cal listing the names of the first T-shirt winners.

one is talking much…..looks like we wait….I have a call in to someone at TV station in sports dept…..maybe something will come from it….but I am not holding my breath
