Here's to Internationalization!!

I love the way Calipari is promoting the UK "brand".  It speaks well of his future here at UK that he wants to place UK not only at the forefront of college basketball, but of sports franchising period.  But with regard to his comment about "1000 7-footers", I'd like to suggest to Cal that he deepen his potential talent pool in China by recruiting point guards from that nation.  After all, the Chinese have surely produced many thousands of agile 6-footers.  (Now, before anyone starts thinking that I'm having a poke at racist fun, let me here say that one of my ex-wives is chinese, and my son is half chinese, so there!)  I for one would love to see two chinese guards on the floor at the same time, dishing the ball to an awesome front line.  So, let's see some Yao Ming Lite, huh?

What's next for Coach Cal, a Hooter's Team?  That one might be best filed under the heading "Collagen Basketball".  ;)
