Thanks for this Fanshot
Masthay is a perfect example of the perfect student-athlete that I love to see come to UK and graduate. His work in the community shows the true character and I am truly proud of his accomplishments on and off the football field and in the classroom. His parents are to be commended for rearing such a fine young man. I know they are very proud as well as many UK fans for having Tim with us at UK.
I wish him the best in the NFL and his desire to serve in the Peace Corps eventually. The Peace Corps, to me, is the noblest non-paying job that a citizen can do for one’s country and other people.

Wanted to add this
Because I know there are many members on this site who probably don’t remember the President who initiated the Peace Corps…one of my favorite Presidents, John F. Kennedy, who said (paraphrasing)…“Ask not what your Country can do for you but what you can do for your Country.” I was in grade school at the time of his inauguration address and I will never forget that.
