Around SBN: Seahawks Trade for TE Kellen Winslow

Interesting stuff by Bonami Jones.

This is shaping up to be a Coach Cal vs. Ol' Roy and Mike Krzyzewski shootout.

I Wonder When Roy Williams Figured Out He Need Another PG Recruit

Larry Drew was McDonalds A-A so he’s a pretty good player.

Wall played it smart by not signing last fall (probably with Baylor if he had).

I think ...

… because he is losing Ty Lawson, and Larry Drew is just not enough depth at the position.

Well ...

… Keep in mind that Wall is from North Carolina and his mother is in poor health. This may not be the best measuring stick available.

Perhaps...

Cal may live up to the current hype. Even more impressive if Wall ends up at UK.

Apparently John Wall's AAU Coach (Brian Clifton)

…… has a very bad relationship win the North Carolina coaches. I don’t think Carolina is a major player in this one.

It seems like it’s gonna be UK or Duke.

I sure hope so.

His “people” have always made me nervous.

If he comes he comes

Hopefully he will. Of all of the recruits talked about I think he may be the most needed. This team hasn’t had a dependable PG for a while and if Wall is as good as advertised he would fit the bill. But as I have said,Coach Cal needs time to get this program back to the top. It won’t be done in just one recruiting season.

Recuiting Deadline

when is the deadline for all these recruits to make their decisions by?

by hummer11092 on Apr 4, 2009 6:07 PM EDT reply actions

No Deadline

LOI signing starts April 15 but ends May 20. Players can sign scholarship papers after that without LOI.

… don’t have to, not for quite awhile.
