RR

Rhondo is a joy to watch. He is so fast on the floor. I have been impressed with the consistency of his game as well. I certainly miss him…although he has taken his skills to the next level at Boston. He is the MVP at this point.

I found this -off topic article…in checking around for the day. A story of sports “passion in high school football”. http://tinyurl.com/d47jgo. Made me smile.

Rondo is awesome

Here’s another positive review by Kevin Pelton at Basketball Prospectus.

I like important stuff just as much as the next guy, but please, for a little while, deliver us from meaning, baseball. That's your greatest glory, and we thank you for it very, very much. -- Craig Calcaterra

Agree about Rondo

I would like to comment on that HS football article that CA linked. What a great idea to get those guys back together after 16 yrs? to play a football game. Can you see 30 something men engaged in a football game? Hope they play a great game with no serious injuries. They will all probably have aches and pains for weeks. Lol, I would love to see that game.

I'm not sure even that is enough

Didn’t he get his triple double in game 2 with a sprain?

That's true he did

Read an awesome article on ESPN about him linked on KSR.

Tubby/Rondo is addressed in the article and it seems to me like Rondo was holding himself back. According to the article the Celtics coaches had the same issues with him his first year in the league. Rondo expected his teamates to play up to his level during those years and when they couldnt he lost interest. His Celtics teamates his first season didnt like playing with him becuase he would give them dirty looks when they couldnt catch his passes. It wasnt until he started being encouraging and making plays his teamates could keep up with that he began being successfull.

DEEETROIT BASKETBALLL!!!

How do you stop Rondo..?

…Ask Tubby, he did a great job of keeping him down…. (of course I kid)

I remember folks used to say the only person to ever shut Jordan down was Dean Smith…

Wait, what..?? Tubby Smith, Dean Smith…? coincidence..? I think not..! ;-)

Steelers fan 1st! UK is my 2nd love.

I Don't Remember Exactly

There were 2 or 3 things in the article a few months ago.

Toughness, maybe. I’ll Google the article if i can.

Found It (Here On ASOB 3 Months Ago)

He said (paraphrasing) Playing For Him At UK Was The Best Experience Of My Life and He’s A Great Coach.

I would link it but I’m still learning how to do that on a Mac. It’s different than on PC’s.

I Have It On My Work E-Mail

Something like, he pushed him (Rondo) to get better, be the best player he could be, keep improving.
