Around SBN: Ellenberger vs. Sanchez Heats Up, Hughes Talks Retirement

If you didn't know this was coming, well, you do now.

Lots of stuff in the criminal complaint. I guess we get to wait for details to leak out as they will.

I don't suppose we're surprised by this

I do look forward to seeing the details of what’s being alleged. I’ve heard some pretty outrageous things floating around there, many of them too outlandish to repeat even through the anonymity of the internet.

A couple of the things I’ve heard would be damning and damaging even if they aren’t true.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

I'm sure ...

… it will all get aired in … what was the term the Necromongers used in Chronicles of Riddick … “in due time?” :-)

The best coverage of Kentucky sports...

And a reference to a Vin Diesel movie… what more could a geek like me want?

Stellar analysis once again Tru.

Andre Riddick?

I didn’t know that someone had actually chronicled Riddick since his departure from Lexington to Belgium. :-)

Demands In Writing No Less

Karen Sypher is either incredibly naive or implausibly duncical, or, if one has mystery writer aspirations, the victim of an elaborate set up.

My jaw dropped at that as well

And does it really get any better for her when she has her attorney ask for $10 million???

What did she expect?

Did she really think Rick was just going to roll over and play dead?

Well ....

He was probably going to get 5 milion at least …. for being the “brains” of the operation – maybe he’ll be indicted too

Nah

Unless the lawyer’s an idiot the demand would be something like “my client is going to sue you for [blank] number of dollar’s, but she’ll settle for 10 million right now and sign a confidentiality agreement.” Perfectly legal.

That is...

assuming the lawyer didn’t know that his client’s claims were fake.
