Great job as always by Tom Leach. I love what this guy brings to Kentucky.

solid young man

i am very thankful that he chose UK. it’s going to be an interesting season. i like the idea that UK is able to run the “Wildcat” formation, especially with their twist on it. If he and the receivers practice this formation over the summer we might just kill a few teams. :) the guy (Malzahn) behind it, from what i understand, is now the offensive coordinator at Auburn. Look for them to rack up on points real soon. That Alabama/Auburn game sure will be something to watch again. he was the reason Tulsa was hanging points on folks like there was no tomorrow.

the biggest obstacle will be keeping the offense in the game long enough to a) score and b) give the defense a rest. Even with some depth they can’t play every snap or close to it. but i anticipate this offense getting MUCH better by mid-October.

Happy 4/20

Rice Owls football

I’m pretty sure the Rice Owls used a form of the Wildcat formation this past season (I think they called it the “Goliath” package), where they used James Casey who also has a very good arm. He could run, or throw the ball great. It worked out very well for them. If I’m mistaken about them being similar formations, I apologize. But if they are the same, I can see this working great for UK this coming season.

Solid young man

I agree. So good to see him back on the field doing his thing and feeling he is all healed.
Now if we can just keep it that way this year. I am very excited this upcoming football season from hearing all the reports out of sping practice. I have always loved football!
