Lots and lots of interesting stuff on here. John Wall and Xavier Henry both talk UK, along with a tiny bit about other schools. UK fans dominate the chat, and I think both players give us some hints about what they are thinking.

The thing that got me about Wall was that he is wanting to stay close to home. The thing that struck me about Henry were his comments vis-a-vis Jodie Meeks.

Enjoy, and discuss.

I can easily see a scenario...

where they both go elsewhere.

Which wouldn’t be the end of the world IMO. Especially after Oakie’s post. We get Bledsoe and he’ll ad back court depth for a few years. With Hood and Orton sticking around, possibly get DFerg back on board. We could probably ad Nolan Dennis as well. We’ll be solid.

Wall would be a huge get, but I’m not fretting if he moves on. Henry would be nice too, I would think the Henry and Meeks could share the floor. My guess is Henry wouldn’t get as many shots as Meeks initially, maybe that is putting him off?

They would be great additions, but neither of them seem to overly excited about any one option, I’d be surprised if we get both.

The Jordan / Nike A-A Are Prestigious Teams

Because 5th year Prep players are included.

Orton made the teams.

Patterson in 2007. Rondo and Crawford in 2004. Alleyne in 2003. Azubuike in 2002.

I don’t know, they seem to be getting along fine, haha.

Sounds like any 2 teenagers who are friends getting their digs’ in on each other and generally having fun. Sure would like both to end up with the CATS representing UK. I don’t think it is an accident that they both have so much personality, it seems their parents have done a good job.

Perhaps The Rumored Problem

is one for the parents and not offspring. Wouldn’t be the first time.

John Wall

When asked what the most important factors influencing his decision, he mentioned staying close to home first off. I think that says a lot. I would LOVE to have him, but I think he stays in North Carolina. I also think that this will make us miss out on Bledsoe. I know he hasnt qualified and there are questions there as to whether he could or not, but he is a really good player and knows that he’s second choice. I see him going to Florida where he was first choice and not a back up.

It is not worth an intelligent man’s time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.

Wall...

has added Florida to his list of schools.

Wall...

is beginning to get on my nerves. How do you just add a school the day before the signing period begins? It wouldn’t be that bad if he didn’t already have 7 others on the list.

People were saying the same thing about Patterson

We won’t be tired of hearing about him after he commits here, which is what I think is going to happen.

I think people read way way too much into what a commit says first or second, or who he leaves on or off his list. I don’t much stock into these interviews, to be honest.

Thats true

If he does commit I will then be all about him.
