Pat Riley.

Oh, I know, "he won't walk through that door".  Well, has anyone opened it for him?  I'm just curious if anyone from UK has ever approached him.  I know he is in the midst of a good run with the Heat, but hell, it's worth a phone call.

Does anyone on ASOB truly believe he wouldn't be an exceptionally good candidate for the job?  People talk about the "Big Guns" out there, but in my opinion, even the dream candidates like Pitino and Calipari are tainted.  Rick is tainted by his having had the absolute gall to walk out on the best coaching job in college basketball, and Calipari by just being Calipari.  I just don't have a good feeling about him, and he's touched by some smarmy situations that haven't stuck.  Camby taking money, some discipline problems with players, etc.  Donovan?  He's a welsher -- ask the Orlando Magic. 

Who of all of these names mentioned has EVERY qualification for the job, to include a stellar reputation?  Pat Riley.  As I've said before, someone write that man a check.
