Some perspective
I found this under an Al.com article. Its some perspective.....that i think we all need to understand. Interesting to me to say the least. Its from some reader with user name ziptag(to properly give him credit)
The problem at UK is not unlike the problem Bama faced after the Bear retired. UK can't seem to find a Bball coach that they can unanimously support thus they are heading into the same wilderness that Bama football experienced.

I Think Alabama Football Is A Decent Comparison to UK Basketball
Would any recent UK football coach be targeted by Bama? I don’t think so.
I doubt Gillispie would go anywhere but back to Texas or close to it.
IF he goes anywhere AT ALL.

Would be wante at many schools
Anyone with brains knows that BCG has the potential to be the top coach in the country. He would have lots of good offers.
Wanted At Other Schools, Sure
Top coach in the USA, that remains to be seen.

I am sorry
I quoted the whole quote………I should have quoted why I put it on here and that was to show about what he said about being like Bama football. The stuff about BG…….shrug…….
I don't care who is coach as long as Kentucky is Kentucky!

Billy G to 'Bama?
I know the thing about rumors on here but the story I heard was that Alabama was going to make a run for Missouri coach Mike Anderson.
Let's not ...
… become The Cats Pause. Rumors like this are simply not useful, and don’t really make any sense.

Tigers Think So
Folks in Columbia with whom I’m familiar are in a bit of terror that Bama will make a run at Anderson and they (Tiger fans) say they’ll do whatever it takes to keep their coach.
Anderson isn't going anywhere.
He’s back in the Southland confernce (er, Big 12) and with him being close to Arkansas he gets to gloat a little. He was passed over in favor of Stan Heath for UA HC job, something to do with being a Nolan supporter. Besides, the Big 12 is better than the SEC currently and I don’t think he wants to go down in stature. He did a marvelous job at UAB. Damn no look over the head backwards pass still haunts my visions.
