But by the end of the game Sanford had worn out Bowling Green with his sensational play at crunch time and sparked Lexington Catholic to a 70-62 overtime victory in the first round of the National City Boys' Sweet Sixteen Thursday afternoon.

The 6-foot-3 senior, who plays with flair and finesse, had 28 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.

Sanford, who was being watched from press row by Kentucky Coach Billy Gillispie, was at his best down the stretch.

I would love to see Sanford become a Cat

I saw him play against my Cardinals in the 11th Region final. Man is he quick. Granted, its the only time I saw him, but I immediately thought about him becoming our Devon Downey.

It just makes me wonder. Why Konner Tucker, and not Vee?

Our...

scholarship situation is jammed. Unless there is going to be a complete roster turnover, he won’t have one to offer him.
