The 6-foot-3 senior, who plays with flair and finesse, had 28 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
Sanford, who was being watched from press row by Kentucky Coach Billy Gillispie, was at his best down the stretch.

I would love to see Sanford become a Cat
I saw him play against my Cardinals in the 11th Region final. Man is he quick. Granted, its the only time I saw him, but I immediately thought about him becoming our Devon Downey.
