Minor surprise
I thought Jorts might be considering transfer.
So here’s the deal now:
Liggins – said he plans to return
Harralson – guaranteed he would return
Pat – Leaning toward returning
Jodie – Leaning toward returning
Porter – senior
Perry – senior
Harris – senior
Galloway – senior
Williams – off scholarship per reports
Carter – graduates
UK still needs at least one scholarship for the players coming in. The only two who haven’t said they were returning or for whom it makes no sense to transfer are Stewart and Miller. I like AJ, but I think Miller is going to be something special. Any other way we get that extra scholly if AJ stays? Did I forget someone? Only thing I see is someone like Porter goes on academic scholarship.
Remember...
Porter may call it quits anyways. Already graduated, married, and has a baby on the way. I believe he will be back, but who knows.
Porter Cannot Go On Academic Scholarship
Unless his grades are much improved. Need 3.3 GPA per NCAA rule to qualify for academic scholarship. His grades are good but not 3.3 GPA (per list of SEC All-Academic names at mid year).

Agree on Stewart
but I thought Liggins recently told a reporter he was coming back. If not for that, I’d have been in total agreement with the above.
I'd bet
that Liggins “plans to return” if Gillispie doesn’t

In regards to Jodie and Patrick...you may want to read this in today's NYT's

sort of been thinking the same thing.....
in a “average” to above avg year for college players going pro, i think it would be a no brainer that meeks and PP come back – however, this is a weak draft so odds go up that they leave.
i still say, unless you are a first round lock, you do not go….
