Afternoon News: Carolina in the Pines Edition
Big night for the Kentucky Wildcats tonight as they travel to Columbia for an encounter with fellow division-leader, the South Carolina Gamecocks. This ought to be an interesting game, and with Patterson back to near 100% and some improved offense from the players not named Meeks or Patterson, there is hope that the Wildcats can return the favor of a home defeat to the Gamecocks.

Tiger 1 up after 1 hole....
I think it is great that the UK athletic department is going all out for Jodie as POY. I seriously doubt he will win it but it is nice to see the university do its part.
Lets hope UK can handle what will undoubtedly be a raucous crowd tonight in Columbia.

I should add
that my boss just left for the day. I’m really considering going home and watching his back 9/“working” from home. . .

Jo-die! Jo-die!
Probably won’t be NPOY, but could and should be 1st team AA if he finishes strong. A big performance on the road tonight would be a good place to start.
I like important stuff just as much as the next guy, but please, for a little while, deliver us from meaning, baseball. That's your greatest glory, and we thank you for it very, very much. -- Craig Calcaterra

Yeah, even with Griffin's injury and having to miss games
I’m sure he has it all locked up.

If anything, I think his injury SOLIDIFIES his status
Oklahoma looked solid without him against Texas and Kansas, but certainly was not the dominant team that has been taking the floor with him in the line-up.
Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

Re: Pryor (or Proyor, if you'd prefer)
I wonder if the fact the Dewayne Robertson was basically a giant bust will hurt his eventual draft status?

Very sad...
and very understanding. For this guy to put his family above this game is something special. It will definitely put more of a load on Liggins, but maybe it will do him good.
Sad news, hope he is able to return soon.

grammar correction
to whom it may concern: it should read “ought” not “aught” (aught means the number zero)
