After yesterdays big win against UT, I was just wondering where all of the "We need to fire Billy" posts were???? I've been a big BCG fan from the start, and Im willing to give the man 4 years to prove his worth to the Big Blue Nation. Heck, we gave Bush 8 years to prove himself. LOL It just irritates me, that after a loss, its all Billy's fault, but when we win(convincingly), then its the players. I agree that they played great, and as a TEAM!!! But I for one would love to see all the "Billy Bashing" stop. Just my two cents worth.

The So-Called Gillispie "Bashing" Will Stop When
Gillispie improves his record versus OOC teams to better than 16-11.
When he wins postseason game(s) at UK (0-2 so far).
When he win SEC title(s) and SECT championship(s).
When he loses fewer than 4 home games per season (4 home L each season, so far).
He is 37-21 at UK. That’s 63.8% so far.
UK was 44-25 in the 2 years B4 he arrived. That’s 63.8% also. UK fans were unhappy.
He must AT LEAST do better than that to earn more support from UK fans.
I think he gets AT LEAST 4 or 5 years to do just that.

There are rarely, if ever, any We Need To Fire Billy threads here.
Rather, this is the only UK website where fans of all kinds engage in rational, intelligent discussion about UK sports.
