We are about to be in first place yet again.

South Carolina down and TN losing to Ole Miss.  What is up with the SEC?  Are we  this competitive or are we this bad.  I honestly don't know.  Auburn kicked some tail tonight.  Vandy played lights out last night.  I am just wondering now if we are really this bad or are we really this competitive (not using good, but competitive).  I am very disappointed in Tennessee who is playing like us : Good one day and horrible the next.  Hopefully the latter on Saturday.  What do ya'll think about this craziness!?!

amazing, isn't it?

after last night’s loss, it looked so bad for the Cats. Who would have guessed that SC and TN would both lose tonight? (Wish FL had lost though).
Sometimes I have wondered the same thing. Maybe the SEC is not so horrible this year. And did you see how close Pelphrey’s piggies came to beating LSU???? A 1-9 team about to beat a 9-1 team. I was really rooting for them, but they just couldn’t pull it off.

Nobody is great this year

We’ve got four teams in the East that can beat each other and lose to anybody this season. Each has their strengths, but none of them has the talent to be dominant in a night-in-night-out basis.

UK is back in control of their own destiny in the East, it’s a good thing Patterson is back.

I like important stuff just as much as the next guy, but please, for a little while, deliver us from meaning, baseball. That's your greatest glory, and we thank you for it very, very much. -- Craig Calcaterra

please

forgive my typos. I tried to fix them twice and it wouldn’t do it.,

it's late

typos are forgiven, and actually almost invisible to the rest of us by this time in the evening.
Glad to see you post this because I was having a little celebration all alone that the Cats were back to a tie for #1, nice to have company.

UK wins all games but Georgia

gets bye in SEC tourney and loses in championship game. Then gets 12 seed and bounced in round 1 of NCAAM Tourney.

Wait...

You think the current worst team remaining on our schedule will be the one to beat us at home?!!?

I don’t think I can agree.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

Besides... I'd love to be a 12 seed

Every year there’s at least one 12 seed that beats a 5 and goes on to beat a 4 seed and skates into the Sweet 16.

Of course its difficult, its a shortcut... if it was easy it'd just be "the way."

UK Only 12 Seed ONCE

Beat #5 then #4 seed in 1985 NCAA. Both were conference champs.

12 seed

I would much much rather be a 12 seed than the dreaded 8-9 seed.

2006 And 2007 = Proof

Solid W over good (not great) UAB and Villanova teams.

Then narrow L to #1 seed UConn and Double Digit L to #1 seed Kansas.

that

seed is almost a punishment seed.

Were those games televised?

I could not find them last night. Of course, I get my TV from Cincinnati…..

I found

one on Yahoo TV. I am pretty disgusted that I live in Tennessee and cannot even get a Tennessee game on TV.

But what you can see

is spring practice on every channel.
