I think this is a phenomenal piece about John Wall.
Fair warning, the article is a bit lengthy, but it's worth the time as it gives you an extensive look into John Wall's life. The piece talks about Wall losing his father and how that affected him (I actually got a little choked up reading that part), it talks about Wall’s relationship with Brian Clifton, about Wall the person, about Wall the basketball player, about his recruitment and how he ended up at Kentucky, and even more. It really is a must read.

He is a very mature 19 year old. He can stay at UK as long as he wants. We won’t mind one bit. :-)

I don’t know how long Wall will stay at UK, but I know very well that he is welcome there a long as he can keep his efforet as high as it currently is. Being a long suffering student who is toiling to attain a bachelor’s degree, I hope he earns his as the “back up plan” he covets. I wish that young man nothing but the best in life, and I hope his accomplishments on the court help him achiev success in life. That said, I hope he gets hs degree. After all, college isn’t about going to the NBA…I hope Pat can help him understand that.
