Any fans going to NYC 12/09 vs. UCONN?

I am going to NYC next week and have tickets to see the Cats play at Madison Square Garden. Are there any groups or individuals going? Where are the Cats staying? We plan to get all garbed up to possibly get some TV time outside of the Today show on morning of game. Let me hear from anyone else going, or if you know of any activities for fans pregame. I'm looking forward to see UK at MSG.

Here already

I’ll be busy during the bulk of the day, but I would like to get together with some fellow UK fans pre-game, especially since game 1 that night is such a dog (dawg?). Are there any groups already planning to meet at a bar in the area (no shortage of those)? If not, I can make some calls and see about reserving some space somewhere.

I'd love to ...

… but I can’t this year. I went to Las Vegas last year. :-)

Be there that afternoon

Myself and 6 other crazed CATS fans will get there that afternoon. I assume that since this is a non-SEC event, that they will be selling beer at the games. That said, I wouldn’t mind going and watching Georgia in the first game. I try and root on all SEC teams when they aren’t playing UK. If the SEC is better, the less I have to listen the my idiotic coworkers talking about how the Big East is the greatest basketball conference that ever was.

If anyone is planning on getting a group together, post it. I can easily be persuaded to pregame with some fellow fans.

I’m going to NYC via bus from Philadelphia w/ my fiancee. I’ll be watching both games, wearing blue. I hope to see lots of other people there wearing blue as well!

I was planning on organizing something pre-game

But now I must travel for work that day, so I will literally roll directly from the airport to the game.

For those planning on organizing something, I would recommend the Gingerman.

It's time. . .
