NCAA Plays Hardball With Memphis Appeal
"Where is the risk if there is no significant penalty when things go awry? If the IAC sets aside the penalties in this case, it would send the message that an institution can take chances, even with knowledge of potential infractions problems, with impunity," the infractions committee said.

Report says Memphis was aware there might be a problem with Rose's SAT score.
And they played him anyway…
I didn’t know that. It clouds the issue a little bit.
But, what could Memphis do? Hold Rose out until the snail-paced NCAA made a decision?
I suppose UM could have pushed back at that time and asked the Association for input.????
No matter where you're at, there you are
The only part that I like even better now is that
the NCAA wants to have another chance to assess OTHER penalties if these are thrown out……that is a laugher…..what a bunch of complete and utter idiots…….they couldnt gather up a dollar between them if brains were worth 50k each…..
Remember, we're having fun now!!!
sorry WW...
