winning out = 2nd place in east

i am posting from my phone as we are still in nashville to see titans game after taking in uk vandy game.  anyway from what i can tell if the football team wins out we would tie for 2nd at 4 and 4 with uga.  by way of head to head tie breaker we would come in second.   does anyone else see it that way and if so can you believe we are still playing for second this late in season

How in the world did we lose to Mississippi State. Or in Aubrun, Alabama, how in the world did we lose to Kentucky?

Yep, we could. And we also could decide to take Boise State on that offer to play them in 2011. Both could happen. Do you think they will?
Georgia is going to want to improve their bowl sutuation also.
Tennessee will get bowl eligible with a win over Vanderbilt. That 2-9 team we beat to death to get to the sacred sixth win. Maybe they’ll be happy to just get to six. And then again maybe they will want to make a statement and get a better bowl.
I see everyone is saying we could have been better with oiut all the injuries, etc. Wonder what team in the SEC couldn’t make the same comment? It looked like Vandy ran out of linebackers the other day. Maybe they could have been a little more competitive with an healthy one or two.
But with this win and getting to another bowl, we’ll be able to get another month of practice in, and golly, the recruits its going to attract.
It was a good win for the young men on the team. They played hard and showed no quit. Cobb and Locke showed superior ability and they should thank the line for the job they did.
Its good to see the remarks about how in the world we let Mississippi Statet beat us. Wonder if the same is being said around Auburn about Kentucky?
It all balances out.

I have be correctly accused of having a 'football fetish'. You know, someone who doesn't think football is the warm up sport to basketball season.
