Spike TV came up with the top 10 most annoying fans. #8 about made me wet myself laughing:

8. Duke Blue Devils Basketball

Every Friday night, just before Dick Vitale pleasures Mike Krzyzewski under the scorers table, a collection of nerdy Duke students pitch tents outside Cameron Indoor Stadium and stay up all night playing board games while waiting in line to watch their team make yet another glorious run to the second round of the NCAA tournament. They put on full blue body paint, jump around like a bunch of meth addicts for three hours, and then wonder why the school’s virginity rate is right on par with their field goal percentage. The average Duke fan is like that kid in elementary school with a collared shirt and pleated slacks who asks the teacher if she forgot to assign homework, while his Mommy tells him that “people are just jealous of how unique and talented you are” when nobody comes to his birthday party at the Planetarium.

Crazy does not equal annoying. I do agree with Cubs fans being #1 though……..and OSU fans #2. I have to hear OSU crap all day at work.

First time I shot her, shot her in the side.
Hard to watch her suffer, but with the second shot she died...

They shouldn't even include West coast teams out of sheer spite

West coast sports fans can’t even be real fans since they miss all the great sports teams that play in the Eastern time zones. Schedules in every sport revolve around the fact that these people refuse to work nights and therefore fail to get up 4 hours earlier like they should.

Also, how are the Green Bay Packers not on that list? They’re so annoying and selfish they won’t let anyone else’s fans visit their stadium.

And what about Cavalier’s fans (or rather, LeBron James’ fans)? They’ve had one player and four other empty jersey’s on the court to cheer for every year yet they still claim that they’re the best team in the East because of this one player every year. They can’t even make the finals most of the time, and when they do they lose because the other team double teams LeBron effectively cutting their scoring in half. Granted, adding Shaq will at least sell more than one type of those ugly Cavs jerseys but they still won’t win a championship this year. When that happens Shaq win retire, LeBron will not extend his contract, then whatever team he’s traded to will take over the Cavs spot on the most annoying fans list. WITNESS the end of your playoff hopes, folks.
