Round 2: Make your prediction
Last week the bragging rights went to ALLBLUCAT although others were right there with him. Figuring an exact winner is tough when no one gets the score perfect so he won the multiheaded coin toss. In any case, lets try again with the Missssssissssssippppppi State Bulldogs coming to Commonwealth.
MSU brings a top SEC rusher (Dixon) into our home along with some young talent brought in by first year coach Dan Mullen. The weather is forecast to be raining all day saturday with it diminishing towards gametime and the temperature around 50 at kickoff.
My guessimate: Ky - 34, MSU - 17. A surprisingly high scoring affair when Kentucky figures out it's quarterback rotation and the defensive secondary feasts on MSU miscues. Add to that Superman Cobb turning in another multi-headed offensive performance. My hopes are based on: two games experience with the Barnum & Bailey quarterback show; game film from the ULM game showing the defensive secondary what NOT to do; great player participation numbers from the ULM game raising the team confidence; UK's holding Dixon to 48 yards last year; and my irrational enthusiasm. Our major test will be coping w/o Micah and continuing to cover for the ailing Lindley.
Now each of you can add your more sensible predictions for this weeks bragging rights.

There you go again showing
favoritism. Your just killing me. Oh well, I am going with a defensive battle and a score of 24-17 UK.

Cats win 20-13
Good special teams play to go along with a pick six for our secondary…With the exception of a couple of big running plays by MSU, we contain their ground game…Go cats!

5-3 It Will Be
First off 31-17 cats all the way. 1. MSU was on a season high last week before the crash that will require longer than seven days to recover from. 2. While this would be a perfect game for the QB tandom to find some receivers, the sloppy field won’t permit it. That’s why I only have UK scoring 31. 3. UK’s O-line will control the line and and keep the ball two thirds of the game, not allowing MSU the opertunity to continue to score. Points scored: 6 by air, 18 by land, and 7 by Sea-bert, Lones that is. That’s 4ex.pts. and a field goal. GO BIG BLUE!

Somebody 17-14.
17-14. Not sure who is going to win. The Cats should. But then, the Bulldogs need tthe win more due to their remaining schedule and the possiblity of going to a bowl.
I saw South Florida and West Virginia last night in Tampa. They have a good quarterback from Tallahasse that Florida State didn’t want. He put on a show of running, passing and maturity. I hope they and Kentucky make it to the bowl in Tampa. It would be a great game.

Are you
trying to cover the unspeakable MSU win for bragging rights? ;-)

Yep
You got it.
I don’t think either team will light it up. The Cats should win though. Hope they do.

Kentucky wins it
21-20……sloppy game on both sides but UK holds on.
I have kleptomania,
but when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

OK....since I got all the headlines I better make this good....
Cats start to figure out the offense, just about the time the rain makes things ugly….the blackout in the stands causes MSU to develop a terminal case of blurred vision….and Randall Cobb is overdue for a bad game…….
Trick or Treaters cause a riot outside Commonwealth Stadium, and Derrick Locke runs for 300 yards because he thinks he is being chased by the headless horseman…..
Now, throw all that out…..
28-20 Cats…….
Remember, we're having fun now!!!

Bad game for Cobb = 2 TDs
You know even if you get the score exact to don’t get the brass ring. There will be a revolt. ;-)

56 – 9. we built up a big lead, keep the starters in. We don’t worry about injuries in a game like this.
Brooks should be able to play just about everyone on the squad. Lst’s see if he does.
