Kentucky Football Iphone APP..You see this?

Kentucky GameDayAppY'all, I had some friends who are all UK fans that built this and they got approved today. They just told me it was live. Check it out if you have an Iphone or ipod touch. this thing is amazing. it has the line, the TV channel, all the links to UK sites, directions, weather, etc, AND all the same for OPPOSING teams...i.e. you can go read the news and boards and see the RSS feeds of our opponents.

COOLEST feature - it has the twitter accounts of the coaches, players, and EX- players (Woodyard, Burton, Lyons some others) so you can see what they are talking about before and after the game.

You can go to itunes store and type in "Kentucky Football" - it is the one that has the blue background and the State of kentucky in White.

Here is a link that should work. www.gamedayapp.com

I travel a ton and having this in airports or when i cant bust out my computer is great. Pretty juiced.

Awesome

I don’t personally have a iPhone (more of a Blackberry girl, myself) but, I think anything that gives fans a chance to get access to more info easily anytime and anyplace — is so great. Unless they live in Antarctica, nowadays practically everyone and their dog is carrying some kind of Smartphone to stay connected and they want their news and info about their particular interests to be quick, thorough, always accessible no matter where they are and they want it yesterday. This is very cool.

I have been avoiding this IPhone nonsense on purpose

because I thought it would take time to get the kinks out, and I heard about the new Android……now they go and do this……gonna make me spend all my money…..lol

Remember, we're having fun now!!!

I already have

A Sea Of Blue icon on my iphone. You can already get everything it offers with an iphone but not in one place. I do wish the developers luck though.

KSR

said this was a company partly owned by Bobby Perry and three other former UK basketball players.

Interestingly, I got my first iPhone (32gb 3GS) yesterday, just set up by IT today. This will be my first app purchase.

I downloaded it.

It’s okay – provides info about the team, game location, opposing team, etc. The best part is probably the collection of UK player tweets – most are pretty funny, and since I don’t use twitter, it’s an easy way to read them.

That being said, it’s lacking in some departments like live game updates and the like. It’s probably worth the $2.99, but it’s just not dynamic in any way. A lot of the information is just links to the UK Athletics site.
