On paper, this looks like a pretty close game, but one thing you have to take into account is the strength of schedule. Kentucky's is much tougher, currently at #8 in all the land, with ULM checking in at #83. Louisiana-Monroe has played exactly 2 winning teams, both who have beaten the Warhawks convincingly. Four of Kentucky's six games have been against winning teams, and four of them have been against ranked or previously ranked foes.
Still, the Warhawks are a quality program with good players, and if Kentucky does not get on top quickly, this could be the kind of game UK could lose, the so-called "trap" game coming off a big road win to a theoretically inferior foe. Both teams will have their starting quarterbacks out for the game, so the offenses of both teams will be somewhat equally disadvantaged.
This is a big one. UK needs this to get back to a winning record.

Cobb is one of the best punt returners I’ve ever seen. It isn’t speed of body, it’s speed of mind.

has returns, a pass, rushes, and catches. Every offensive stat he can get that has to do with the ball. Just amazing! And all in one game.

Things of concern: Passing by Fidler and Newton (though both settling down), kick-offs, defensive secondary, injusry to Micah, running Locke too much

Newton definitely still green
should have picked up that blitz and dumped. If he can’t settle down the future looks scary.
I'll tell you what though, once he gets experience, I see him becoming a great QB.
Seen some potential with him as a threat in the Auburn game.
If these guys could close out a drive, this is a completely ugly situation

I think Brooks knows the game is in the bag
and trying to get Newton some pass plays. Use Cobb on second or third down to get the first then punt away on 4th. Until ULM proves they aren’t allergic to points we’ll see this the rest of the game.
I thought that the 34-17 score was out of reach.....maybe not......

At this point in game I'd join Ken
no need for Cobb on punt returns. Even go further with not using him at all (unless we need a first down).
I would not have bet on the secondary sealing the deal in this game.....lol
